The shank height is the only thing you need to worry about. I wouldn't bother finding one for your machine specifically, I didn't, just find a generic one that matches your machines shank height. I found one on amazon for about $20 and I'm so glad I got it, my life is so much easier and my ruffles are much more beautiful.

Also try (if you haven't already), the gather thread method. Its a bit more time consuming but you get nice results.

Im sure she can, but I don't think anyone has ever taught her to make a proper pattern. The extent of it seems to be square bodices and circle skirts with lace and ruffles slapped on top. The socks create a weird gap between them and your dress. Tights would look better. The cardigan is too much black. If there have already been suggestions made for improvement for the cardigan, then I won't mention any suggestions.The accessories seem to be lacking a bit. Maybe add more bracelets. The bonnet looks saggy, and the color of the wig doesn't suit you or the dress. Also I think you need a more defined petticoat. I think it's borderline, but more than just nitpick. First off, fuck those stupid cat ears. They make zero sense for the coord and there's no reason for them.
