This. My big beef with that pattern is that if you're going to do all that modification, why bother? There are other patterns out there that are much nicer, require minimal alteration, and can be used for a variety of other things. Not to mention, the sleeve flange and skirt portion would be pretty easy to draft.
Otherwise, most people don't want to go to the effort to do all that, so it's going to look like shit anyways.

She doesn't pin the bugs herself. She buys them already pinned and posed and just mounts them into frames. 99% of the work is done already. Unless you raise them yourself there is no realistic (You could send it in some kind of freezer unit, but it would be stupidly expensive) way you could ship a bug to someone without it drying into place before it got there.

Yes there is. Ive done it. They are shipped in modeled cases a lot of the time or in containers with extra padding. They do not dry out immediately. Its takes a long while. Suzy does mount them herself.
