I feel very lost. before cny I put in an order for a bonnet and that was all fine but I'm looking at some of their OP's and they all seem like deposits from past seasons or placeholders for upcoming reservations. do they only take orders at certain times for certain dresses?

I actually couldn't delete Taobao-Finds because Admin K was in it and every admin has to leave the group before it'll delete itself. So I password protected it and deleted my Tumblr account but Admin K says she has it back up and running again so people can use the FAQ/Guides.

I just got really stressed the last month or two pretty much forcing myself to update it and not wanting to have anything to do with it. Whenever Taobao-Finds went too long without updating we'd get mesages here and there bugging us about posting stuff and I was tired of them and I didn't want to turn the blog over to someone else either since Admin K is too busy to run it. So it just sort of made sense at the time since I was pretty stressed and upset and ended up just deleting a lot of my social media accounts that night.

Honestly, I feel a whole lot better now having done it. I've got a new Tumblr now and if we've had any Asks or Fanmails asking why or asking for help/items, Admin K hasn't mentioned it to me so it's pretty nice just not having anything to do with it for a while.

Not saying it'll always be practically abandoned but for the foreseeable future I don't think I'll go back to it.

Reread that and realized it made my stress issues sound entirely Taobao-Find's fault, which it wasn't. I was having issues with people on other websites and some real life stress as well so everything just kind of all swirled together into this massive stress/frustration, hence me deleting a lot of various social media and other website accounts.

Huh, that's what happened to me as well. With extremely important exams coming up, I couldn't afford to have the taobao tumblr I ran to take up my life. I also realized that it was becoming a chore to update it rather than a stress reliever. I was also turning to stress shopping because of everything that was happening in my life, and updating the blog wasn't helping my addiction. In the end, I just deleted it.

You could probably size down, but I guess it depends on your feet. If I push my feet all the way to the front I can fit my finger easily in the back. Most of the reviews say they're too big too. I'm just not sure what the variation is like between the sizes? Maybe check out the reviews, they might be more helpful than me.

Actually looking at them again, some people have said the same thing about the buckles. I hotglued mine just now haha, hoping they'll hold. Honestly I don't know that they're worth the price but the design is so damn cute.

So, yesterday I was going through taobao looking for stuff to buy, and I bookmarked like a shit ton of stuff, clothes, figurines, wigs and whatnot.
Today I was gonna look through them and remove some of them (I had like 95, and I knew some of them were pretty unnecessary).

Yeah, it's $131 for shipping alone. That being said, a 11kg order is actually quite big. I think I have more than a hundred individual items in there, so in the end, the shipping isn't awful awful.

I've ordered a few modest packages from Taobao and I didn't get taxed (Finland) because I marked down the items.

Anything imported from outside the EU that is not marked under 22 euros will be taxed with ALV. So prepare to pay 24% of your shipment in custom fees.

There is the possibility for you to mark down the package, but even then, since you order so much, I don't think it is believable that a 7 kg package would only cost 22 euros.

I semi agree on this part, but what makes me have mixed feelings about it is the fact that the produce and meat selection is very limited. The dairy section, however, is very impressive. I am still floored at the selection of yogurt, cheese and other milk products in normal grocery stores!

Been meaning to post this. Got my package a week or two ago (had to pick it up from a friend's place so I got it late). Reviews welcome on anything but the x'd items (sellers didn't send them and I gave up waiting and canceled those items from my order)

someone wanted a review of the baby replica shoes (the white ones). I don't have pictures because I ordered a size too big and got pissed when they didn't fit at all so I gave them to my sister who took them back with her to college. But they really do look exactly like they do in the pictures and they seemed sturdy. Only thing is that the heart buckles come off pretty easily (my sister and I thought we broke them the first time). They don't seem like they'll come off when walking but just be careful not to lose them. I think they come off that way to make it easier to put on each time.

I've never used an SS so I can't give you a comparison review. I like doing things myself, without proxies, so when I heard about forwarding I finally ordered from taobao for the first time.

It's pretty painless. I followed the guide linked in the top and winged it for what the guide didn't go over.

Things to keep in mind:

* Call your bank or credit card provider BEFORE you submit your order through taobao. China is a country of heavy fraud so your bank may block you once you go to purchase. Just let your bank know and they'll waive the fraud alert for a day or two.

* As a foreign buyer, alipay may hold your money for 24 hours and not allow you to make any more purchases if you're buying a lot. So try to consolidate your payments as much as you can (check with your bank regarding purchasing limits). Submit your cart once you're really sure you're going to order and then when you go to pay find where it says to consolidate (note" I DIDN'T do this and paid each seller individually and got blocked by alipay halfway through my order. But there is a way to consolidate them so I'll try that next time)

* You bank or credit card may charge foreign transaction fees. These are usually small. Check with your bank beforehand if you're concerned.

* Once you pay the money does not go to the sellers right away. Once your items arrive at the freight forwarder, remember to pay your sellers! Also remember to pay your freight forwarder once you get your package. There are time limits on every payment and it will default to pay if you do not do anything, so make sure you have received everything in the time frame. If not...

* If a seller does not send an item within the time window (usually 15 days) you can request a refund. The seller has somewhere like 24-48 hours to respond or refund or alipay will rule in your favor and refund you. It is a drop down menu, you don't have to write anything. Very easy.

I got the heart blouse in black and white. It's cute and very comfy. I got a size medium and it's a little loose, I probably could have gone for smaller. The fabric is fairly thick but it shows the outline of my bra more than I'd like so I wear a tank under it. The heart also doesn't really sit at the boobs on me, which works for me. It's like a low cut shirt with a collar.

The sleeves are also super long. They almost cover my hands completely. It's cute like that tho.

That happens to my best friend too.

She was using yoybuy, and they charged +1000 dollars of her account, for a 100 dollar order. She has the paycheck at the first of the month and that happens on 20th, so she was so fucked (I know this because I have to lend her some money). And YoyBuy told her the money will be refunded in 10 days too. She almost cannot pay the light and wather of her house... after 10 days, YoyBuy told her they need a little more time, they send her another 1 or 2$ coupon gift. After one entire month, she DEMAND her money, so they blocked her off her account, and some items she bought and didn't arrive yet... Well. So she goes to her bank and try to solve the problem. After trying the entire day, the bank saw the YoyBuy's bank account didn't exist anymore. We contacted two of our best friends, so they can tell us which bank accounts take her money (these 2 girls use yoybuy too) and we can see different bank accounts... it seems now YoyBuy changes their bank account so often so them can steal as they want. (these 2 friends had a lot of problems too)

I don't see how anyone could honestly trust yoybuy anymore after all the shit they've been pulling recently. Them stopping PayPal and freezing accounts should surely be enough to tell you to avoid them. They're dodgy af and I'm so glad I've never used them

I've been using yoybuy for several years now and it's been fine. I've made 2 orders within the last few months too and no problems. Maybe I'm just lucky, though. It does suck that they no longer take PayPal though, cause they tend to double charge my bank account. The 2nd charge gets refunded in a couple days but I do have to be wary of that.
