I was watching some show (I think ANTM) where they put bald caps on people with long hair. The hair was as smooth to the head as possible, and pulled back into a low ponytail. Maybe try that? Dany has long hair so it should hopefully hide it

I tried the braid thing. It turned out fairly better than just trying to even them out, but unless I put the "weight" in the back, it looks bumpy and stupid. So the closest I could go is a big nape, which isn't as horrid as a bumpy side / top.

OP - not using a lace front wig for Dany cosplay?
I wouldn't be too worried about the dreds. Cheap no lace-front wig is what people will probably be critiquing most. That's usually the biggest gripe about Dany or Elsa or other cosplays with no-fringe wig styles.

It might be easier to disguise it if the wig was a bit fuller. You should try an arda wig, they have a bigger cap too so it will be easier to fit your hair in. If you can get more wave texture into the wig too it will make the lump on the back of your head less obvious.

You can get a decent wig for like $30-45. And this is not "intolerance". Intolerance would imply that we are unwilling to accept your views or opinion on something. That is not the case, as you objectively look like crap, those are not proper dreads, you are not taking care of your hair properly and you should either spend the time and money to get it done right, or drastically change it to something that would better suit you.

What have you tried so far? Some of the advice posted earlier on was actual advice.

Anyway have you tried getting a friend to pin curl them/pin curling them? They lay flat on your head and are usually held down with bobby pins (pic related). I would recommend using two wig caps, one netted one and another, tighter, solid wig cap.

Also sorry in advance, i don't have any experience with dreads, but pin curls seem to be your best bet.

Yes they do. You can youtube some methods these girls do, but basically they use the hook to tighten the hair in. Crochet is actually the better one because it at least gives it a uniform look. The worst is the people who just want to be 'free' and get a lumpy matted mess.
