Is there anywhere online that has a list with picture-examples of various alternative j-fashions and their subcultures? I've found google doesn't offer much, especially not accurate or up-to-date depictions. I've got a fondness of 'em, but don't know much beyond things like dolly-kei, lolita, fairy-kei, decora, mori-girl, some gyaru (not many of the substyles). I know I've heard of more but never really seen any examples, and google images is a horrible resource for these things, from my experience.

If not, can we possibly have a general favorite pictures of alternative j-fashions thread? Even if it fits into no specific category.

usually thrift shops. you just need to be lucky and look in a rich or old area and you could probably find some nice ones. i have 3 really pretty ones all thrifted.
theyre also all pretty cheap, like 5 or 6 $$$. sometimes even cheaper. the main thing you need is luck honestly.

considering the point of the thread being examples of the fashion types due to not knowing them in the first place, i highly recommend labeling what some of these are meant to represent. at least, if they are representing something specifically.

The first is dolly kei and the second I think I had in my mori girl folder, though I know anon said its Korean. I'll come back, post more and do what I can to label once I'm back on my computer

Pic related is Seiso. It means "neat and clean". It's supposed to be a more polished, conservative look compared to Otona Kawaii but to me there are alot of similarities. Alot Japanese brands have clothing that can be used for both
