how do y'all feel about dejavudea (on youtube)?? i feel like she's a little too into herself and is constantly looking @ herself in all her vlogs.

also general discussion about con vloggers and such ((pic related; it's dejavudea))

Pfft I actually let out a little happy gasp when I saw the op, I think she's great! It'd be nice to meet her if she ever came over to the UK.
I'm usually working on cosplay when watching her vids because that kinda stuff really get me pumped and in the mood. Anyone know of others who vlog around cons that are worth watching?

yeah she's very over the top with her "bye-nee~!" and such, but when she has her friends on talking with her and such it isn't that bad. you should watch her anime usa vlogs and see how you feel after?

She actually super crazy nice. She's also cute and has her own dance troupe. As far as I know, anyone who does public entertainment has every right to be a little narcissistic. Nothing wrong with checking yourself in your blog. Everyone does it. She's a very sweet girl, like seriously.

Its not often you get these genuine cosplayer bloggers. She can be a little over the edge of hyper, but its a different kind of hyper than someone with straight up ADHD. Its more of a uplifting hyper. Don't know if that makes any sense.

Oh my god I went to college with Deanna and she is the epitome of the type that is really good at pretending to be nice to get what she wants.

>led many boys at a time on so they would do her chores for her
>said boys also contributed to a personality cult she had that she would step on to get what she wanted
>joined many different student clubs and then slept her way to the top

I had lots of friends who were friends were her because we were all in the same nerdy circles, but god was she awful. Watched so many of my guy friends become obsessed with her and led on just for her to date president of whatever club she wanted to take over at that time.

I didn't even know she had gotten big in the cosplay world, but honestly, given her personality, she fits the archetype of cosplay fame pretty well. Idk if she gets involved in any drama in the cosplay world but man was she an awful person in college.

>> No.8206651

Hey >>8203385 I went to college with her too, pretty sure I'm good friends with one of the people you're talking about. Who are you?

That being said, I can partially confirm what >>8203385 is saying. I played a few on-campus games with her, so I talked to her a bit, but not a ton. Deanna was a nice person to talk to occasionally, but she was definitely a bit obsessed with attention, and her on screen presence really gives that away. She definitely played guys though, and I could believe she had boyfriends in a large number of the different nerdy clubs. I wanted to like her as a person, but she really did a number on my friend when they broke up.

I haven't really talked since they broke up, and I still think it's funny people keep watching her vlogs and stuff, but I guess that's cool too.

Why do girls shame others girls for trying to get hitched? Jealousy?

>> No.8207236

>>8206712
Seriously. TONS of girls do this. And, by the way, being buddy-buddy with guys doesn't mean you lead them on. I have SO many more guy friends than I do with girls friends and Im a damn girl. Maybe I relate more to guys because they get my humor more compared to my geeky/nerdy girl friends, but even then we know our boundries.

This isn't uncommon in the nerdy community. I dont know why you would think that because someone is on super good terms with dudes that they have a secret agenda. If you have ZERO confirmations of actual dating going on, then 'leading on' is the same as flirting which is fine if you are single. Even if you are with someone, simple flirting is fine.

Maybe Im just open minded, but seriously. Buddy-buddy with friends has NOTHING to do with leading them on. Especially if it s mutual. Ffs, anons. Get your head out of your asses and stop being so scared of the opposite sex that you think anyone being awesome to the opposite sex has secret agendas.

>> No.8207263

>>8207241
But seriously. Some girls just straight up are cuter and that nice attitude isn't always fucking fake. Deja is one of those girls. Being friendly and cool to talk to and easy to talk to and being a bit narcey doesn't make her a bad person. If guys like her in college, so be it. Its college. Get your heads out of your asses and realize ITS COLLEGE ALSO. EVERYONE is trying to get laid. If youre not, TOO BAD. Thats your own fault. Thats the time to fuck around WITH EVERYONE.

Soooo, zero proof of any of this.

I'm gonna stick with her being a lovely person who likes idol animu and dancing.

And bad breakups happen all the time. I dont see how that is different from any other friend who's friend had a bad breakup and even if she left the friend for someone else, thats life. Get over it. Doesn't make someone a bad person. Makes them a fucking person.

>>8207431
Its not. If you, along the way, realize that you guys are falling apart from each other and one of your friends seems like a better companion and its mutual, then breakup, and go be with the other person.

Thinking logically about relationships like this is all about growing up. Some of you may not have been in enough relationships to even really understand how to handle them and the different ways it can go depending on personal matters outside of the actual relationship you are in. People fall apart. Thats how it goes. Sometimes they don't and people stay together.

There is zero reason or excuse to stay in a relationship if you are not happy and you have a chance to be with someone else that might make you happy. It is 0% bad, but will suck for the other party you are leaving.

>> No.8207463

>>8207439
Its not. Thats the funny thing. It is someone who has not been in enough relationships saying this. Clearly they have never been in the situation in which this has happened.

This happens so often. So does cheating. While cheating is just douchey, leaving someone is not. You shouldn't stay with someone if you aren't happy just because you are afraid to hurt their feelings.

Good. Thats life. If you are going to complain about adults doing consensual sex stuff and whatnot, then too bad for you. This is what people do. They sex. They flirt. They do it to go places. They do it for fun. They do it while dating other people.

Doing if while dating may not be that nice, but you need to wake up and realize that this DOESNT make someone a bad person. Breaking up with someone for someone else doesn't make someone a bad person. Cheating on someone doesn't straightout make someone a bad person. Flirting to further your career, not bad person.

May not be nice, but gawd damnit its the real world. Get your romantic head out of your butt and deal with the fact that she left your friend for someone else. So what? You weren't directly involved. Not your problem. Yes, your friend was hurt, but you are NOT involved in the situation.
