Adha from Assassins Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles. Shitty DS game that was also on mobile. Just think it is a cool design. I probably will do it one day regardless of how random the character is because I have always wanted to do a costume with 'middle eastern' feel.

Not SUPER obscure, but Maia from Jak & Daxter. I'd love to have a Gol, too. One of my favorite childhood games and they look really badass

BK is not obscure but it was always been mistaken as a pokemon cosplay whenever people tried it. I don't think it'd be unrecognizable at a halloween party with your retro-gamer friends but who seriously would rather invest on a halloween costume rather than a big convention one.

I actually dressed as Kazooie for a last minute halloween/comikaze outfit (pic related). My friend did Banjo, and we were recognized a lot both at the convention, and at the halloween party we went to afterwords. We gave out twix and other gold-wrapped candies attached to gold 'jiggy' pieces, which was a nice touch, too. Not sure it helped with recognition, but it sure got people excited. Point is, if you've got a Banjo (whether another cosplayer or like, a prop or something), you won't have to be worried about being mistaken for a pokemon.

Not sure if he's considered very obscure anymore, but when I first started wanting to cosplay him, he was. Anri (the blonde), from Adekan. Sadly since I'm trans and want to get my surgery done before I cosplay him, I can't even start on it until after that's all finished, seeing as the way my weight gets distributed will change after going on hormones and my ass might not fit in it later.

I want to get one of my friends to be either Hazel or ChaCha with me from The Umbrella Academy. Maybe if it were 2008 it would be a little more recognizable but I really doubt many people would recognize us if we did this now.
