Hey /cgl/!

I come to you in need, a need to know how to make this <<pic related. Saw it posted the other day on FB by a cosplayer and it linked me to an article. Looks like a few a were made by a Japanese cosplay maker, but no intention of mass production/taking orders for them.

In another article a "tutorial" was made, however the Japanese creator's English...well...

SO I come to you all! Any tips/ideas how to make this? Looking for something like this that appears to be fairly comfortable to where.

Thanks

Look for ones sold by American/European cross dress shops. Usually you can find them in much larger sizes. Also the ones linked are sort of awful cheap ones. Get a good set and you can actually use liquid latex and makeup to hide the seam and everything. Plus silicone feels flesh like so you can even squish em for photos or to mess with people. Not even that anon, but it's a known fact that VS will lie to you about your size to get sales, a lot of women have no fucking clue how bras work/are supposed to work. VS sells specifically generalized sizing and they want to make sales. My friend's gf has a fairly large chest and she had been sized before by someone who knows what they're doing, and was straight up lied to by the VS worker during their sizing sale. I was also sized at VS and for years thought my bra size was 2 sizes smaller than it is.

I don't buy from them anymore to say the least.

>> No.8185177

>>8185136
Women don't know what proper bras are supposed to look like, and if you don't know what something's supposed to look like, then you're going to take the word of a "professional".

> If a bra's not comfortable
But that's the thing, ill fitting bras, mostly for smaller women, aren't that uncomfortable because the band's too loose. For larger breasted women, the bra might be comfortable, but they're going to have back aches but they won't attribute it to the bra itself, they usually just think it's because their boobs are too big. I've heard many women who think they have an E cup say they want D's instead when they really have an M or JJ or another cup that's way off.

VS (and other department stores) lie to you because it's easier to fit everyone into the AA - DD and 28 - 38 range, instead of stocking a whole store filled with every single size of every single cut imagine able. You're being pretty naive, anon.

Also
>VS says I'm 34 D
>I'm actually 30 FF/DDDD
The closest they carry is 32 DDD, so of course they're going to try to sell me the 34 D.

>> No.8185238

>>8185136
>>8185112

This is exactly what I was going to explain >>8185177, said it very well. The problem with carrying a huge variety of sizes is that some inventory will inevitably sit, which is a retailer's nightmare. That's why online stores which don't have the same constraints are able to offer a wider variety of cuts, sizes, etc. to consumers while you may not see band sizes smaller than 32 or bigger than 38 in a mall or other brick & mortar shop.

The way that companies push you into their specific, smaller range is by using those special formulas where you add 2 or 4 inches to your underbust to get the "band size". It really skews the shit out of your measurements and you're likely to end up with something that "fits okish" but there are likely better fits out there you don't know about.

I wore the wrong size (34B, pretty common) ever since I started needing bras until a few years ago when I realized my underwires were leaving marks on the sides of my boobs and that was not normal. I drank that fuckin' koolaid believing "Oh I'm only a B cup, I'm kinda small." Another fit issue I had was that the 34 bands were quite loose but not painful to me, like I could pull it off my back about 6-8".

However, browsing that Reddit thread [yea, I am not fond of the place either but there is a ton of helpful info], I remeasured myself without the "Add x" method and realized I should've been wearing a 32D. I also learned that cup and band size are relative and cup size doesn't have to do with how "huge" your boobs are really. The difference in fit and comfort was noticeable immediately when I tracked down a 32D bra. The trouble is finding this size from a company that isn't applying their magical "Add X" formula.

Yeah I've explained to i don't know how many girls at work that A-DD is the boob size equivalent of stores carrying XS-XL. They really don't mean much on their own, are kind of arbitrary based on the actual brand's sizing, and there's so many people who fall outside of it or are at weird in between stages. Going to Victorias Secret and expecting their "expertise" to be true in every shop is like going to Forever 21 and trying on a random pair of skinny jeans off a rack and just accepting thats how they're meant to fit because the shop girl told you they look cute.
\

Also somewhat unrelated but you ought to have your size checked about every six months from puberty to age 30, and once a year after that. That first fifteen or so years of having boobs is kind of a roller coaster of cup sizes , and after that they're still pretty prone to changing based on hormones and diet and having kids etc. I'm 26 and went from having B cups at age 22 to having DDs now, on the same band size.

I guess they meant proportionally bigger.
A 38A looks just wide and flat, even though it has the same volume as a 32A (if I'm not mistaken-- cups signify volume).
A 32A looks bigger because you have the same-sized boob on a smaller chest.

That comparison diagram that people always post explains it quite well.

>> No.8188140

>>8188096
Bra sizing is a ratio between the width of the ribs and the volume of the breasts. The bigger the ratio, the larger the disparity between the ribs and the volume of the breast. The number correlates the circumference of the band. The letter correlates with the number of inches of this disparity.

So while a 32A and a 38A would both have only an inch of a disparity, the 32A girl will be more narrow and her breasts will look larger. The 38A girl is wider, so her breasts are going to look smaller.

Imagine putting a penny on a postage stamp and a postcard. The penny will look bigger on a postage stamp, and look smaller on a postcard. It's all about the reference point.

Kate Upton is officially 34D-34DD according to most media - but there's no way her ribcage is 34", she's got a slim ribcage/waist, she's actually a 30G when properly fitted. People who are actually 34D-DD either tend to be fat, or have larger frames overall then she does as a 34" ribcage is pretty large for most women.

For a D to be cantaloupe size, the girl possessing them would have to be pretty obese. Do you like fat chicks?

But the breasts themselves are bigger on the 38A, so that doesn't make sense. A 38A is the cup volume equivalent of 32D. It would be accurate to say 32D looks much bigger even though it's the same size, but not 32A.

Nigger, anyone who knows anything about VS knows they lie about your cup size to get you to buy shit. Like other anons have already pointed out; it's better for business to just carry some sizes and tell people the closest to what will fit them. I thought I was 34D for 5 years because that's what VS told me on multiple occasions, but the truth is I'm a 28H.

Also
>If a bra's not comfortable, hmmmm maybe it doesn't fit. I've bought VS bras but turned down their measuring ladies and my bras fit just fine. It's not hard.
Given how ignorant you are to how the world of bras work, I'm guessing your among the majority of women wearing the wrong size. Most girls who say their bras fit "just fine" without being measured are. Just because it doesn't feel uncomfortable doesn't mean it fits. A bra can be several sizes off and still feel comfortable. Or, you can have it for months or even longer before it starts to get uncomfortable. Either way, don't act so full of yourself like you're the only person that ever put together "maybe if it's uncomfortable, that means it doesn't fit".

I mean this is sort of right and sort of wrong. The depth of a 32A and 38A may be the same but the width differs a fair amount.

Semi-related question: How do you strengthen the muscles above your breasts/prevent boob sagging? I have good pecs (pushups and lifting) but they don't seem to have done much for my boob volume. I have large-ish breasts (FF/G cup) and a small frame. Online sources vary in their advice
>don't wear sports bras, they weaken the breast muscles
>go braless, it'll strengthen breast muscles

I wear sports bras almost all the time, since I fit into my shirts better and get less creepy attention.

There's only so much you can do, since you're only working the muscles underneath. At that size, yours would sag anyway due to gravity.

Only thing I can think of telling you is:

You're strengthening to muscles to lift your boobs, and it just really makes them a bit more perky. But with a chest as large as yours it won't really help much...

>go braless, some french guy says so
Ever see those topless tribes in Africa? Protip, they ain't melting from the sun. Since you already lift I wouldn't worry about the atrophy of the muscles underneath them.

Going braless doesn't actually help the muscles or anything, and instead pulls the skin more due to the fat.

If you look at the young girls who haven't had children yet they look perky still Not saying I'm all for braless but I think you can't judge by breasts that have nourished six children.

I think it's good to braless sometimes though, I don't understand why you would a bra 100% of the time anyway.
