Literally my first time on /cgl/ but I am going to provide some insight into why women don't understand that prancing around with their asses and skin on display is mild torture for young males.

While a small handful of people cosplay simply because it's fun, innately, the majority of cosplayers do it for attention (even if it's as innocent as wanting someone to recognize they look good or if they like the show they're from). Is that necessarily bad? If a girl wants to prance around in her skimpy outfit, by all means, do it. If you're ottermode or swol as fuck and are ripped and want to show off your manpower? Go for it bro. Will I take your picture? Not necessarily, unless it's about 50/50 and you're being faithful to the costume / it's THAT impressive (unless it's scenarios like OP's picture, then just no, simply because too-sexual is a turn-off). I wouldn't say that cosplay begets "slutty" behavior, but a lot of scantily-clad girls don't seem to mind being voyeuristic, getting off to the idea of being so admired or if it's a dudebro who is just cosplaying to get pussy. I've learned to get over that kind of behavior. A lot of girls at convention aren't even looking for a relationship. Hell, everyone's there for an escape. The last thing someone wants is something else to worry about. Best way to avoid that problem? Don't bother with it. Sure, it'd be hot as fuck to hook up with Random Cosplay Chick #1147 or blossom some kind of cutesy, flowery relationship, but that's not my prerogative. What I don't understand is why women will deliberately choose the sluttiest-looking characters to cosplay though. Because a lot of them do look slutty, but that's because they're supposed to.
