Can't say for sure, but I will say that I once did that contest and found my entry posted on the Japanese site, and he refused to credit/reward/anything. Pissed me off. How accurate is the rakuten shop in terms of stock numbers? There's a pair of shoes I want that are sold out on the website in the color and size I need, but on rakuten they're available in 1 last size (that I am willing to try and just stuff tissue paper into.) I just don't wanna go through the effort of trying to buy and then have them be like "lol sorry".

Same here, I fluctuate between a US 10-12 M-XL depending on the brand, article of clothing, time of year. I'm usually in L-4L depending on the measurements because Bodyline isn't consistent at all.

But generally, I'd say 6L would probably close to 2X or XXL or about 16-18, maybe up to a 20. Having been that size previously at my highest weight, I was big, considered obese (another 20-25lbs and I'd be considered within the morbidly obese range). I certainly know people who are that size, maybe a little bigger and can wear brand even if it doesn't look right.

Usually the shift is about 1 size down, so a M in Japanese sizing would be a S in US. But Bodyline sizing is determined by voodoo a 6L could very well be an 2L who the fuck even knows.

Keeping in mind that Bodyline's sizes are all over the place, for most items a 6L does not translate to a 6XL in America. Other anons are right that a Bodyline 6L is about a 20 in the US, but it's always better to go by measurements.
Typically, people in the US who wear a 20 would be in the 1X range, 22-24 is a 2X range, 26-28 is a 3X and so on. A 6X in the US would be huge, like a 38-40. You don't typically find those sizes outside of men's big and tall sections. If you want women's clothes that size, you have to order the dumpy shit from those catalogs or whatever.
Anyone of that size should just be rolled off a cliff anyways.

I got them in size 2L. The material is surprisingly thick. The buttons are really nice, and sewn on securely (I was expecting them to be loose for some reason).

The fit of the trousers on the waist is very flattering, and the cut of the trousers suits pretty much any leg shape: I have a huge ass and thick thighs, whereas my bf is a skinny/ straight up and down tiny butt-ed guy, and they look excellent on both of us. The legs are quite poofy, so I'd say they definitely suit a more "cute" look than elegant and mature. The fit around the calves would depend on the size of yours: my bf and I have similar size calves and they fit with about a finger's space to spare, which is perfect for comfort without being too lose.

Only downside is that, depending on torso length, you may need to sew another button onto the waistband to secure the straps, as the two buttons used to secure them leave the straps a bit too long and prone to falling off.

I liked them so much, I got a second pair so my bf and I could twin. I would definitely recommend them, especially as they are so cheap.

But yes, BL wigs are great for the price. A lot of their photos don't do them justice, which is why they've been avoided for awhile. I've personally only bought the natural styles and colors, can't speak for their cosplay wigs and brighter colors.

I personally question BL's blouses, but like any item, including the one I listed as suggestions, feel free to google reviews and play around with collages to see if you like them enough. For a more traditional hime lolita/rococo inspired look, bell-sleeves will be your best bet, but you can find them among brand and taobao for better quality and fit imho.

Flat shoes may be seen as more casual, but it's ok if you prefer them. I think that heels (platformed or otherwise) would be more appropriate for a hime lolita look - whether "traditional" or for a gal inspired coordinate. BL's tiaras are really small and I'm sure you can find better ones at Claire's or Icing's (I think they go on sale after the spring prom season).

I know that these examples are made with brand, but I couldn't find any other good hime lolita with a main BL piece or pieces - but I think it's a good side-by-side for a more "traditional"/"fairy-tale" inspired hime lolita look to the more gal look.

The fur is soft & of better quality than Bodyline usually uses. The size is just so. I find them to be just so when I ordered them so I personally am going to rebuy them and size up.

So I got the 6L dress today…And I actually quite happy with it. It's lose in places but I can fix it. Only issues were LOOSE THREADS GALORE and those fucking waist ties being too short to so they look good. Other than that, I highly recommend it for tall busty girls who can do alterations. Like the moment I zipped up the side of the dress and by boobs fit in the bodice with out strangling me was a beautiful moment. Plus the print as actually really cute. I want to line the dress, though.

I found that BL's RHS are difficult to walk in since they're made with a foam platform.I do like Shoes261, minus the weird shoe accessory, but shoes152 would be the best fit imo since 261 is too casual for a themed look. You just put the dress into the bag, folded, and close the zipper, then you put it into the machine.
Really easy, but if you're insecure, wash as delicate and in cold water.

I've purchased several of them. If you plan on putting the chain around your neck, I'd recommend dipping it in clear nail polish first because it will turn your skin green. Also about half the watches I've gotten have been dead and needed new batteries. But other than that they're really pretty for what you pay.

BL blouses are awful, even F+F is better. Just pass on them altogether. Anna House's blouses are alright too. Really though, I'd recommend just go with taobao. These days they are absolutely the best bang for your buck. If you can't be bothered to deal with tb though, on ebay just keep a search for 'victorian ruffle blouse' or something like that and scroll through once in a while, I get some decent offbrand ones that way.

How's the sizing on shoes 274? First time ordering shoes from Bodyline and I've heard they run a little larger than listed. I'm UK7/US9/24cm measurement and a pair of heels I have that fit well measure 25cm along the insole. Would I be ok in the 24.5?

the material is kinda thin, and they don't stand up on their own so i'd recommend keeping whatever is in them supporting the shape when they arrive to store them. the straps all have three size holes and arrive in the middle one so they can all get ~1cm longer/shorter, though they are a little fiddly and thin so be careful.

the toebox gaps quite a bit, even with socks on. they're pretty true to size. the heels are stable and feel sturdy, and the bows are actually stitched on pretty securely.

actually fitting around the calf is possibly going to be an issue for some. i have the top straps on the largest size and they only just fit around my 42cm/16.5in calves. any larger han that and you have absolutely no hope in hell.

the fabric is cheap (but shit it was 999 yen), but you can't see through it. it's a bit stiff though that might change with time - i have no prior experience with bodyline seifukus.

i got a 4l because i am a fat ugly man, and the skirt fits nicely. the top bags out a bit under the arms, but i think tits would help. the sleeves are a touch short when i lift my arms straight out in front of me, and the skirt is so short you can see my boxers if i so much as waft wrong whilst standing. you feel fucking kawaii wearing it though.

its a zip closure on the front of the top with snaps for the panel, and the skirt is also a zip, with added elasticated panels. the tie is separate, and has a hook and adjustable neck band.

i wouldnt that much for it unless i needed to make up an order or had extra money lying around. there're nicer things on there that i'd like more, but its nice to have it in my wardrobe.

But they put a wrong name in it, so the post office can't give it to me.
I contacted BL and they told me in a rude way "we didn't make any mistake; it's your problem"
I show them the PayPal invoice, with my real name in it, and after 5 days they just say "that was the name we put" , which it's a lie, so I show them a photo of the name they wrote, and again, "it's your problem, it's not our fault"
