mmmm not that anon, i'm 22 and rely on my parent's to still buy me clothing (although I do pay my own bills and stuff so i'm not completely dependent). Sometimes they forbid me to buy certain items.

I got it in december last year, it's such a gorgeous dress and I'm stoked that I picked it over something cheaper

Also gonna say for if anyone is planning on ever buying it in the future - its pretty short and sits about 2in above my knees at 4'11 so I'd be wary if you're much taller than that!!

First purchase was a bodyline skirt, not a dress. I still wear it occasionally.

Mine was a floral Bodyline JSK they don't seem to have any more, but my first brand item was the Perfume Bottle skirt from Meta from one of their lucky packs! Really kicking myself that I sold it, the print was beautiful.

I'm so excited to be looking for my first dress today! I've been lurking on /cgl for years now and I've decided that now is my time to be true to myself and be kawaii. I have nothing right now but I thought if I picked a dress that I loved now then got everything to match after I would have my first coord soon! I think the quality is 8/10. It is really nice velvet and wonderful to touch. The embroidery is clearly machine and I think there was one section where I was not sure if was unraveling (it was not). But the bow in the middle was pretty, though not the highest of quality.

I love this jsk and I think it was def worth what I paid for it. If really wanted to, I would but the jacket version too.

...it's low waist, it's not supposed to sit at your knees. They're supposed to be shorter and more casual.

The awful part is that my taste got worse before it got better...
