the slits are so low because they're the second owner and the first one was taller. It also had the waist decals and the symbol wasn't peeling, i guess it's just been worn enough.

Note: not defending, this person likes to pass off other people's work as their own so nobody notices they haven't ever actually made a costume. Absolutely agree. I really like their eye for detail (as anon mentioned above) and how, yes, it's gaudy junk, but it's tastefully applied gaudy junk that fits the character. I think their horns could be improved if they were thinned out at the base and made the angles more pronounced and jagged instead of kinda fluid.

I think it's a tumblr thing. When there is a character that's shitty or called "trash" they take pictures of them stepping into the garbage where they belong. Also taking pictures of a trash can and labeling it as "my __ cosplay~"

I've seen this done with homestuck (Usually characters like Eridan, Cronus, Caliborn) and i've seen it done with Dangan Ronpa character (Komaeda, i've seen one with Monokuma throwing Usami in the trash) etc etc etc
