Personally, I grew to abhor Vic over the years for the shit and drama I had to put up with in his group, especially his gay fanboy stalker who'd fap to Vic pics.

But I did go to one of his Sunday Masses. It was actually really nice. I'm not really a church goer, but I enjoyed the love and comradeship that the mass had, and it really put ya at ease.

But that was back in 06, so...Idk what has happened since then.

Most recent big role I can recall is Rin in Free!.

I saw Vic Mignogna at Sakura Con last year. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

He sidled up to me and said, “Oh, like you’re doing now? You little cutie!”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept rubbing his face up against mine and going “mwah? mwah? mwah!” and running his hand over my lips. I walked away and continued with my browsing, and I heard him complimenting himself as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen twizzlers in his hands without paying.

The girl at the stall was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them back.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any dangerous equivalent exchangerence” and then turned around and blew a kiss to me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by taking selfies with her really loudly.

He was at my first con a couple of years ago, and he was kind of 'patrolling' the con floor later in the day after all his panels and signings were done. He was hassling some of the dealers while people rushed up to greet him, and me, being the naive child I was, decided to do the same.

Found out really fast and really easily he is quite the creep. I hugged him, and put his hand extremely low on my side, and kind of gripped me in a really suggestive way. I kind of had to force my way out of his grip and then I walked away as quickly as possible. A couple of my other friends had similar, weird experiences with him being really critical of beliefs, etc. Found out later he was actually banned from another local con (Animazement) for inviting minors to his hotel room and also offering them alcohol. So there's that.

I mean, I'm from Portland and the only reason I go is because my school's anime club funds the whole thing minus badges. Transport, hotels... everything is paid for by my school which makes it worth it.

Otherwise the 3+ travel hours and cost for Sak wouldn't be worth it.

Steve Blum is fucking great. I used to work for a con that put me into a lot of contact with him, and he's funny, really kind, never creepy or weird about the status he's gained, really truly loves the projects he's been involved with. Really grateful, humble dude. And super easy to work with, which was not the case with every VA I had to coordinate that year.

He was really "dad"ish, in a good way. I think his actual kids are youngish adults, and they tip him off to funny fandom stuff involving him--so he'll do silly things like the "Amon stand up" stuff, but never in a gross pandery way.

I probably sound like a weird fangirl, but he was just so easy to work with and that was such a blessing. He sells shirts with the "Bang" voicewave on them at cons for charity. Good fucking dude.

Also, straight up, his Amon voice is fucking panty dropping. So maybe I'm like, 10% weird fangirl.

What's the best way to get from Victoria, BC to Seattle?

Ideally I'd like to pick up my Sakura-Con badge on April 2nd, and come home on April 5th.
