I always think it's interesting how we can have cosplayers who cosplay obviously sexualized designs from shows and games, and that's viewed as female empowerment, but the designs in those mediums are viewed as sexist pandering to the male gaze.

Basically it's ok to cosplay someone elses sexist design, it's just not ok to create one yourself in a video game or anime.

So I'm reading this screen cap and it looks like Danielle is NOT poly. She's just in an "open relationship". Like I said earlier as well, whether you view marriage as necessary or not, a lot of people still view it as a great commitment to another person, and many don't feel they themselves are capable of it. This is only one of many reasons people choose monogamy but even if it was i don't see how this is a weak reason of why it "can't" work that way. It sounds like it doesn't work that way for YOU which is fine, but for many people sharing themselves with multiple people is emotionally and sexually fulfilling.
