As far as I can remember there was no legit obituary and multiple funeral homes claimed to hold the funeral. There was a fundraiser to get 10k for his funeral but it was quickly shut down after the rumors about him faking his suicide started. Also the picture of the urn had a photo of him in his goddamn pikachu hoodie set next to it instead of, well, something that he would look normal in. It seemed like a hoax for me.
