I was getting better at updating frequently, but I'm in a slump again.

I'm going to take a risk with this, but my page is Felin LaPaige cosplay. Currently I've gotten tired of s4s and want to really have a nice interactive audience because I am working hard on my 2015 cosplays to be nice. How do you guys all pick names for your cosplay pages? Right now mine is just two normal names (my first and middle name) not followed by cosplay or anything, I started it when I was like 17 and though I would be an ~alternative model~ and I just really want to distance myself from that name. Mine's just my online handle, really. Back when I first started out, most people had cosplay nicknames rather than using their real names, so I went with one and it stuck.
I use a different handle now, not the one I went by when I first started, but it's pretty much just my online handle.
Hope this helps? Some people just use their real names for their cosplay pages though, so if you don't mind doing that it's still an option.

I'm tempted to make a tutorial, but essentially I created an undergarment structure using a design similar to that of a fall arrest harness and a backplate. The wings them selves were on another plate that latched onto the costume (so I could ride a taxi or use the loo much more easily). The wings were built with corrugated plastic covered in mesh. The mechanism for making the wings flap is much harder to explain without a diagram sorry, but hopefully this picture helps to illustrate what I said above!

I have tutorials aimed at people new to making costumes, and some photography tutorials too. Just put up my first video tutorial, hoping to do more over the coming year on simple things like drafting sleeves, inserting zips and so on.
