This thread used to be one of my favorites on /cgl/, sharing my plans with people and seeing what everyone else had planned.
For the only con I had planned on going to this year, not only have all of my friends bailed on me, they've also produced so much drama that my want to go will be at 0 this year and every year after it.
Feels so bad to have to say that I have no cosplay plans this year after having been in this hobby for exactly 10 years now. I even spent a good chunk of last year preparing cosplays for this year so I wouldn't have to stress it. I've got 6 ready and another 3 almost ready to be worn that I'll probably just have to sell now.

I'm debating between Purple Parrots Player and Show Host atm. I might do a player for the sake of simplicity, but really I just want to show off this huge 8 foot tall Olmec my friend made. She ended up using it once for a non-nerd-themed convention and she didn't have the space to hold it so he's mine now. I wanna run around and have fun with it and take pictures with it at a con. I even made a silver monkey statue to go with it!

He is near impossible to cosplay right because it's just such a simple cosplay. I actually finished the cosplay years ago but ended up never wearing it - recently when I fixed up the wig and posted a facial shot on Facebook to decide whether or not I should finally go through with it, most friends thought I was trying to portray a young Paul McCartney.
If I ever end up wearing him at all then I'm likely gonna make a tiny tv with pic related on the screen that I can carry around with me. Or I'll have a friend be Dojima, that's probably the easiest thing to do.

Its called Cosplanner and its hella helpful! You can keep track of your cosplays and finalize them and even upload pictures from photoshoots and any awards you've won, and the events you plan on wearing them to/have worn them to. Its really great.

Its free on both android and Iphone but it limits you to 20 items you can list to buy/wear. You can upgrade to 100 items for like one or two dollars more and it even keeps track of the percentage of things you've been making and the cost of your materials. Its probably the best app I've ever invested in.

Things are progressing well. Just finished the Monado yesterday (Image of it in the Nintendo Thread) and the Wii Fit Trainer is finished.

Yeah, I was also surprised by the amount of Nagisas we have in here. Assassination Classroom is pretty enjoyable if you have a certain sense of humour. So far, nothing's really plot-dramatic has happened, but/so it's a fun manga to read.

As for progress, I have almost all oft he wigs' I'm just missing Honoka, Lettuce, and May. I've started on some of the little accessories and am looking at patterns and all that. I know my image says summer Texas cons but I really think I'll bring some out to IKKiCON or something just so I have an excuse to wear them again lol. I would really love to get Kii done this year so I can say I cosplayed an Aikatsu character! But groups came up and I've been meaning to cosplay Ranka for awhile now. As for Clover Club, I really want to do more Miku variants since I have the wig. I guess once I start getting used to classes and my job starts paying me again, I'll progress more and more. I might fit in a crossplay since it's been awhile since my last one. However, not too many male characters are really interesting me. Maybe I'll do Crocodile from Rolling Girls just for the heck of it, who knows.

I don't look nothing like Masayoshi (Almost his height but black and a skinny, banana shape girl,) but in this thread it has been proven that there are a ton of people not the right skin type or body type but they still rock the cosplay anyway. Yeah there's someone who's going to be an Asshole Ashley but you can't please anyone. As long as you don't look like the bad cosplay people and be on point nobody would really care.

LARP fag here. I'm looking at New armor, new garb and new weapons. I want to get back into shape after 6 months of near inactivity so that I can last on the battlefield without getting winded, also so I can look awesome while kicking ass. Starting a brand new LARP next month that focuses on realism and complete immersion. Gotta get my dwarf on.

Actually this is going to change so I'm probably pushing back Ranka to a maybe and adding in Mako (KlK) since I got my parents to agree to cosplaying with me! I'm also adding in Simon (TGL) so there goes doing only cute girls for this year.

I really wanted to do Aoi's Celestial Coord because holy shit it's my favorite.

The dream though is to get a group together of all the first season girls and have everyone do their first premium rare coord.
