that ribbon looks so cheap. and it's transparent, so that you basically have to wear it over something and can't wear it on its own unless you're trying to pull off an ero coord. but then there's the big ruffle at the top that will interfere with most blouses... technically good, but just a weird concept.

In France it's traditionnal to offer lilly of the valley on the first of may. It's an old old thing, most people forgot why we used to do that and nobody does it anymore anyway. It apparently originated from a knight offering to Charles IX of France and his mother Catherine of Medicis a sprig of lilly of the valley from his personal garden as they were visiting his castle.
So you have it : Catherine of Medicis and Virgin Mary's tears.

I've gotten three velvet pieces from Surface Spell in the past and was pretty disappointed both orders (one was the alchemy set from their "readymade" shop, the other two were from the "custom" shop's Judgement Day stuff). Their photos look great, but the materials are generally not so hot by comparison. They also don't seem to use any form of stabiliser on the velvet, so a lot of the embroidery is puckered on one of the dresses.

So every time I see these new dresses, I get really excited, but then remember the dresses I have in my closet that I'd like to sell, and back off again.

wait so the brighter pink is the older version, correct? I actually kind of like that colorway best though...is it possible to still upload a more pink/less purple colorway as well?

Yes you do make a commission on yardage sold from Spoonflower or can buy your print yardage at a discount to resell in addition to getting a fabric and other goods discount yourself.

Love this so much, hopefully I will not miss out on this, I already have some dress design in my head.

Will there be other colors or just purple?

OH GOD THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANT.

I can't remember how long ago it was, but I started a thread on tasteful guro that wouldn't be so tacky or costume looking. So this is just... The dream. I want something like this so bad.

Prints with animal skulls, blood and viscera, and etc. Heavily relies on accessories.

Do you not remember the wonderfinch shitstorm with them? It came out awful. Shoddily made, completely different materials were used, they publicly lambasted her, called her a liar, posted screencaps of their convo, it was a mess

This is seriously disgusting but also tempting.

oh wow, OP of that post here. I vaguely knew that wonderfinch had a shitstorm with an indie brand, but I just skipped past the drama so I didn't know it was with them. Thanks for informing me

Is anyone to reserve Down the Rabbit Hole's dress?
I really like it.. but I'm feeling bit iffy spending $205 on a new brand.
Also can't decide which color.

I am so down to reserve this in ivory, but dropping another 60 or so for a beret is kind of much. I think $205 is pretty reasonable though.

I'm considering getting the pink version. It kind of looks like a mix between Jane Marple and older ETC.

I like Lief's peony print a lot too. Depending on what the better final images of it looks like depends on which one I buy between these two.

Looks like Snow Field has gotten their shit back together from all of the update posts on their FB page. Any gulls with open orders/problems can confirm this?
