Well, the point is not so much the motifs as much as the weight and colors. My wardrobe is very heavy in dark colors and thick OPs, so a light color that allows me to throw a light cardigan on is one of my only summer appropriate outfits as opposed to stuffing a black blouse under a black JSK and hoping I don't dehydrate myself. The cardi allows me to not have to layer under the dress, which is huge for avoiding heavy heat. Besides, bats are appropriate any time of the year.

However, my dream dress coord still makes me weak at the knees, though I've built a few around this JSK.

Brave yourself for some creepy fangirl-ism: I've been following her for a long time now on tumblr and used to look at her old blog too. She herself said on her tumblr that she isn't a very happy person and not very satisfied with her current life. She said she does not have a best friend, is stuck in a daily routine with her job (not too sure if she likes her job that much too) that leaves her with not much time for a personal life or room for being creative. She does seem to visit the opera and museums with her family a lot too or even alone.
I admire her for many things, but don't think anyone's life is perfect, especially on the internet where you can only see filtered and very little content of a person's life.

Well, it sounds like you're not very happy with your life. Instead of being jealous for other people's seemingly perfect life, why not try to change something? It's amazing what difference make up, hair and accessoires can do. She is wearing the same dress yet changing her make up & hair style made such a big difference.

I think she can pull off Sweet pretty good, just like she can make many Bodyline pieces look good. But she often fails at the make up and hair. She has a cute face and nice hair (and wigs) yet she often ruins it with styling herself wrong.

The second one is so much brighter and highlights her have much better. It's hardly fair to compare two photos when one is taken with such flattering lighting and angle.

There's no excuse for not having a matching pair, I have -10 sight in both eyes and I can get glasses for $150. I don't have insurance either, there are tons of places online that sell cute frames for $25 or so and the grinding of the lenses is $100 or less.
