Has there ever been a great Lettuce wig? I went through like a billion. In my journey I discovered that the most common problems were blunt bangs and weird color. There were some okay ones, but none are great. I'm so frustrated with the amount of bad cosplays for this series.

I had the same problem with my Ichigo wig.
No one fucking realizes her pink hair is wavy/curly in the back.

My guess is you should get a wig like the top-right one of your acceptable ones and cut it a little shorter in the middle, but not enought to actually make bangs.
Putting more volume on the sides would help a lot too

I think there are a couple problems here with your journey:
- Green is a really wide part of the color spectrum with a ton of variations (same with blue). Green is also one of the less popular colors you're likely to see in base wigs. This particular green has a ton of yellow in it, so I very rarely see wigs in the color you're looking for. I checked a few mainstream wig sites and I didn't find a single equivalent color. You'd probably have to custom-dye it. (Frankly, I think it's an ugly color and a lot of the ones in your collage are an improvement color-wise.)
- The way her hair is drawn doesn't really translate that well to a wig. It's that whole thin, stringy, not-quite-full bangs from 90s shoujo stuff, similar to how Sailor Mars is drawn.

I knew I was being a bit autistic with it, and I do agree about the color. Some of the blunt cut wigs (2nd row, 5th and 6th from the left especially) have great colors that are very flattering in my opinion. But I disagree about mainstream sites- Arda's light green and Epic Cosplay's ecto green would both be closer than the blue greens and neon greens that were very prevalent. Another option would be trimming a C. C. wig which many wig sites have. I think what I'm going for with this is that putting effort into a wig is as important as the costume, and a lot of these cosplayers seemed lazy with it (especially the western ones. Cure had a much better selection.)

I don't know what series this is from, but, going by your image: I think the bangs on this wig look pretty damn great. I think the art looks much more like feathered bangs than just split down the middle fringe.
As for the color, do you think Arda's Jade would work, perhaps with some dyeing?

I was looking at Arda's jade the other day, I don't remember the exact color but I remember thinking it could work. And that one does look great in hindsight, I think the reason I put it in the blunt bangs category is because it looked a lot worse in the group shots. I agree on the feathered bangs as well, having a perfectly accurate one would look awkward. The "okay" ones all look.... ok. The extreme V just doesn't work.

Hold... on until tmr when I go by my workplace. I just realize that SoCap has a color swatch in lettuce's color. Its called 'acid green'... but it isn't the jarring, neon green or blue green that most those wigs are, its very similar to the drawings of Lettuce, maybe a tinge darker. I'll upload a picture and see if I can find any other information on the hue.

Japanese cosplayers rarely give out their personal info, which is why their coscards usually contain only Cure and WorldCosplay codes as well as their nickname.
This was super sucky before WorldCosplay because Cure is completely in Japanese. I'm so glad Miya decided to create WorldCosplay, it's so much easier to contact Japanese cosplayers that way.

Not that anon but had it been me I would consider airbrushing the bodysuit to look a little more like skin. The flatness of the color looks lazy and extra fake.
Some shadows on the side, at the elbows, under the bust, at the thigh joint, on the torso, and down the leg could work wonders. Nothing too much, but it should be there.

That wig is atrocious. So that needs to be replaced.

I think Sailor Moon's transformation ribbons are pink, not red. Ribbons might look better if translucent. I'm glad it's at least wired ribbon. Perhaps a liberal amount of glitter on the ribbon might look nice. Smaller ribbons in the same color also looping around might look more interesting as well
