Well all of my current favourite characters are well-built, probably-tall, generally masculine-all-over men. I meanwhile am a skinnyfat short-side-of-average woman with just enough curviness that trying to hide it would look at best unconvincing and at worst ridiculous. Hips/butt/thighs especially.

To be honest, the son not being there may not be an issue if I have my friend along. She's got this uber-cute look about her that lets her pull off shotas perfectly and has expressed interest in cosplaying Rana. Still, being on the busty/chubby side, there's not many characters I can really do without a massive amount of cinching and corset training. I'm thinking of getting a Pochaco costume together but somewhat put off due to the high-neckbeard fanbase of the character, I honestly know very little about her aside from liking her look (which is basically all there is to her) and really don't want to get mass hatred for not knowing some minute detail about the character.

White is...not sure if that's a good idea. You could probably pass for a guy with the suit version but if you have any ass the spandex version might be harder to do even with a hip shaper.

Actually if you do full battle suit Kaneki you might be able to hide your hips if you do the hoodie with the shorts instead of just the spandex body suit.

Black is the easiest version no matter what you do. Wear slightly looser clothing and make sure your legs are not together (like girls do.) learn how to stand/walk like a guy, blah blah blah. Everything he has is layers so you can hide your hips.

Makeup is basic contouring for males. Juuzou is ambiguous enough that you don't need to look super manly and neither is Kaneki (not even Flan head version.)

I'm 4'10.5" and thinking of doing Vegeta. I'm decently built and have a similar stocky and athletic build, I'm thinking his hair might be far easier to do due to having very long hair I know wigs are generally preferred, but every Vegeta wig I've seen sucked and if I backcomb/spray/spike it, I can get a tall hairstyle similar to his, I'd just need to shape and style it in the mirror.
