I know none of the nameless poem op's have been sent out yet but I wanted to include it anyways, heh. Probably won't buy until later this month just cause it's the holidays and shit but I'm also going to have to buy some shoes for this (all of mine are bit too sweet or are the wrong color) as well as a more nicely matching bag.

Yes we do. I'm sure the new guy at the Post recognizes me by face now.

I've got a few blouses (Lady Sloth and The Floral Notebook) in the mail at the moment. I don't know why I didn't expect them to take so long.
I also placed a HUGE order of FanPlusFriend stuff not too long ago. My comm took advantage of my VIP coupon from a contest a while back, and we ended up spending $1200 after discount, for 6 girls. I'm excited for my peignoir (which is an appropriate cut for lolita) and some girls got in on that Musical Palmer set while it was still being made. The order was updated as shipped today, so I should have it in three or four weeks. 20 items will take a while.
In total, I still have four items in the mail. Good lord.

>>7989605
When that happens, it's usually the CCAs on rotation that are paid a fraction of the amount of regulars that are covering the really heavy miserable hour holiday shifts with barely any overtime compensation (USPS doesn't pay any penalty overtime in the month of December.) Tip them too if you can, even if just some cookies or something, their jobs blow major cock this time of year and they're nobody's "regulars" and take different routes every day so nobody wants to tip them. Where I live, they're usually CCAs from a nearby town that get bumped over to our larger area to help with the rush, and the poor things are extra lost and running behind because they don't even know the way around.

It also sucks because the CCAs are the ones that are forced to work Christmas Day for package delivery. I once got an EMS package delivered on Christmas and I felt terrible about it, since I was expecting it to come the next day. I gave her some cookies but I wish I could have prepared more for her.

Also during the summer, one of the most amazing things you can do for your carrier is offer them a bottled water or gatorade. It's way more appreciated than you can imagine.

Anyone else (from outside the US) having issues with Amazon tracking numbers and delivery times? There are three parcels due (one order, split up due to size I assume), and none of their tracking numbers work. Amazon's site gives me an error saying "We're sorry - tracking information is not currently available. Please try again later." And has done since it shipped.

The usual pattern of two letters-nine numbers-US hasn't been used for the numbers either. They're each a string of nonsense that doesn't track through any postal site I've tried. Two say the carrier is "AUSSIE_POST", the third says "I-PARCEL".

All three are also about two weeks late by their predicted date (I ordered in mid-November, and chose expedited to get them here before Christmas), but Amazon has said "wait until December 21st. If they still aren't there, we'll refund you or send new ones." I'm a bit at a loss here, because while there are a frivolous things for me in there, the bulk of the order consists of Christmas gifts. I can find other gifts last minute, but am I just fucked on these packages ever surfacing?

I remember ordering once via a Japanese form, but that was at least 3-4 years ago. The webshop used to be better, but I think they have the same problem most lolita brands suffer from: it's hard to get good bilingual staff for the wages that they can afford to pay.

Yes, if you find the 30 band loose at all. I found shopping in China was really good as the 70 band there was significantly tighter than a 30 band in the UK. I usually wear a 30B-C and look for companies that run small, but I definitely notice the difference with a 28 band. It depends on the fit you like and how bony your ribcage is as well - as some people who measure 28" find 28 bands uncomfortably tight due to ribcage shape

>that one order that took 5 weeks to be shipped

People misusing their email doesn't help either. I guess some customers expect a speedy reply to orders, and when they don't get one they send multiple follow up emails which only delays orders more. I get following up with them if a reply takes a while, but some people jump the gun and do it after a few days even though IW clearly shows their opening times on their website.

Message her back and tell her you're having problems tracking it. If it's registered mail and from Poland, chances are you'll need Poland's tracking system (or do what I do and use track-trace.com). Depending on the shipper but it's their responsibility. Not the seller or the buyer. Seller can't control FedEx, USPS, UPS, etc. If it's stolen then its your management's fault and you are just shit out of luck unless you have insurance. Once it leaves the seller's hands and they have proof of shipping it's not their fault.

But if you have a package coming and you don't pick it up from the post office after 30 days or you pick it up and leave it somewhere after deliver then it's your fault 100%.

That's why you get traced insurance anon. If you don't get insurance you are taking a chance for your package to be lost or stolen. If you do have insurance the seller is suppose to give you a tracking number and you follow that. That's what insurance is for. After that point it's outside of the seller's hands and whatever happens is due to the shipping service. If the shipping service gives you crap then you have to report them and deal with them. Unless the seller does something like not give you a tracking number, the item isn't as described, or not ship your item you can't really blame them/file a claim. Sellers can't control the post office or whatever you use.

I had a $60 Vita game stolen from my mail box with paid insurance shipping and Nis America was kind enough to send me another one after the post office claimed "LOL not our fault," even though it was signed insurance.
