From reading all these threads and dealing with gensobox, I'm pretty sure something like this happened. S has friends or contacts in China. S might have come up with the idea, but I don't think so. I think the people in China decided to use S for web design skills and also to look like they have a presence in America to gain peoples trust. That's why I initially thought they were trustworthy too.
But the address in the letter posted is fake, they probably just used a nearby abandoned building or something. From dealing with Gensobox the ones putting together these boxes and shipping them out are in China. I really think that this is being headed by people in China because it doesn't make a lot of sense that this S contacted people in China to do her dirty work and then take no responsibility for it. I guess it could be true, it just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. It seems more like the people in China were using Americans to add legitimacy to their business and put a Western "feel" to it. That's just my take.
