when I did it I didn't have enough time to do the straps (I'll prob redo the cosplay with the straps), but the leotard is very stretchy so you are able to stretch it high and it will stay in place, so I would recommend to add the side straps, instead of cutting them out.

Apart from the standard feet and bobbins that came with the machine, which aren't pictured, I have a walking foot, roller foot (not in photo), needles including five ball point, pins, seam ripper, measuring tape, thread, ykk invisible zip...fabric wise there's several metres of medium weight iron on interfacing, a metre of the gold lycra, and about half a metre of the other two so maybe just enough to make short boot covers.

I bought the dress such a long time ago that I forgot the bust measurement, but my waist is about 25-26 inches and it was just a bit loose on me. It also looked like there was enough seam allowance for some modifications if needed.
