Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Color or other similar colors. My hair always turns the exact color on the box because its light brown, so I don't use any specific kind over and over. I just pick the reddest color they have at whatever store I'm at.

I do only color every 3 or so months, though, to let my hair recoup.

I'll bite! Sorry for my consistently shitty lighting. Before pic was taken on a really bad day for my acne so it's actually worse than that but I don't have the heart to post something more obvious. Also have bad dark circles.
All of the makeup looks have full foundation+concealer etc.
Top is just Mascara. Mascara makes a stupid amount of difference for me because redheads have essentially invisible eyelashes.
Bottom is my Miku cosplay makeup without the wig so Circle lenses and false lashes. Sylveon is circle lenses and brown mascara because extra lashes was too harsh. I still need to work on my eyebrow mix though. Hair really helps, top photo my hair was magically fluffy and bangs weren't stupid it was a good day.

In college a lot of my girl friends wore light makeup, but I'm the type of person who rolls out of bed 15 minutes before you have to be in class so I've never worn anything besides coverup on a regular basis. I get the Miss Bow Bow tape, I ordered mine on Amazon. I haven't tried any other brands but it doesn't irritate/cut up my eyes like other double eyelid methods I've tried.
Putting them on is quite simple, once you get the hang of it. All you really have to do is put them over your crease. Making your eyes even is the really tricky part though.

I dunno, I sometimes just feel lackluster next to my friends since they're rocking cateyes. But I feel my comfiest and happiest without makeup, and it's not like any of my friends give a flying fuck about who's wearing makup since everyone I know tends to dress nicely. I think it's just one of those things that I sometimes get self-confident about subconciously.

My mom's always been really nitpicky my whole life about me being lackluster with how I fix my hair and don't wear makeup, so I guess any doubts I have about myself are from her constantly being on me about that. But...I have a really nice natural haircolor, and I feel happy when it's down and about, and even though I don't have like...amazing cheekbones or an awesome jawline I find myself to be naturally really pretty and my eyes are pretty cool....but I can't help second guessing myself. That's fine, anon. I grew up with my da and a gaggle of brothers so I had to learn everything regarding makeup etc by myself and he asked a nurse to explain "lady things" to me. To this day I don't wear makeup because it was something seen as normal in my family, and it's perfectly all right if you don't. Just please remember to take care of your skin and be wary of the sun, but that goes for anyone really.

Your undereye wrinkles are really bad, so try looking around for something that is formulated particularly for aged undereye skin. I'm a big fan of red lips, cat eye glasses and "vintage" looks but I think it really doesn't suit you - makes you look older than you are and distracts from your cute features (I'd switch lips and eyes in a heartbeat, for example). I'd go for a younger, more "dollish" look. for the skin around your eyes, leddit recommends retinol eye cream and Vitamin C treatments

I think you've got nice symmetry and features so you could definitely clean up well with the right makeup and styling. Your frames in the previous photos are somewhat dated-looking and make you look older. I'd imagine you're mid to late 20s at the oldest but previous photos put you around late 30s. Improving your skincare routine and trying to avoid further skin damage is a good start, like other anon(s) mentioned. For makeup you'll want to focus on colour correction and having a base that evens out your variation in skin tone. Undereye concealer and nicely styled brows would help too. Your current brows are a nice base - not too thin or far apart - though when filling them in you may want to go closer to the centre than in your wedding tests. I wouldn't go quite so heavy on the black liner as in the wedding makeup tests either, as it made your eyes look smaller. Best of luck.

The lipstick really brightens up your face! I would recommend trying out different pink shades that still really "pop" if you want to go for a more natural look. Still that red draws immediate attention to your smile and looks very nice. Perhaps try a lip pencil to fill in your upper lip?
Personally I don't really like the eye makeup at all. It's too dark and thick behind your glasses and the cat eye look actually draws attention to wrinkles instead of hiding them. You should try a very thin line of eyeliner that doesn't really extend past the end of your eye, some mascara if it will work under the glasses, and a tinge of eye shadow. Maybe green or teal because of your brown eyes?
And there's always foundation and concealer and whatnot if you wanted to try all over makeup. Your skin's pretty normal though so it really isn't necessary. Perhaps a touch of rosy, peachy blush if you you're interested to doing that? It looks like you might already have some on, but it's so faint that it's really hard to tell.
Otherwise the only other thing I'd said is your glasses actually seem a little too large for your face. Obviously those are a big investment so I would only say that's something to keep in mind for down the road whenever you need a new pair.
Oh, and I love that cute, little hair spiral.

You can bring them back when you do indeed hit middle aged and they'll look nice then. Right now they are doing you no favors. No more cat eye whatsoever. I still say some teal eyeshadow and peachy cheeks will be nice for you though. And definitely some mascara so we can see your eyelashes. And yeah, I've stopped messing with my hair and am trying to get it back to its natural state at this point. With the make-up for j-fash, tried to go for the CPK undereye blush thing but I've found it does not favors to my face shape.

My acne has gotten a bit worse since this photo but eh. No make up, cosplay make up an regular make up (I need to stop doing winged eyeliner since I'm wearing it whenever I go out but I don't know any other ways to do it to be honest). I love the lip color you've got in the second photo, it works very well for you. Or are those your natural lips? Either way, rock it.

For your lolita makeup, I'd suggest bottom lashes. You can get some demi lashes or clip some full ones in half if you'd feel overwhelmed by it going the whole way. Your big circle lenses with just top lashes feels a bit unbalanced. Kind of like how here >>7927080 and here >>7928248 the circle lenses look kind of spooky without the lashes to match.

You're very cute and have a great face shape. You can emphasize your length, chin, and cheek bones if you want a more intense, gothy look (kind of like how the lighting, facial expression, and hairstyle makes you look in the second picture) or you can focus on softening your face and looking more round and sweet. It'd be fun things to experiment with when you're practicing your contouring.

It's kind of hard to capture in a photo, but when I'm looking down my eyelids look more like double eyelids. If I'm looking straight on, though, my eyes get this real hooded appearance which means that any eye makeup I put on is pretty much obscured.

I do it for cosplay and don't think it looks bad. If you know your nose well and know how to contour, it can work fine.

May as well post (and then regret doing so in the morning when I'm not half asleep). The reason I wear such heavy make-up on a day to day basis is I got a bit nervous on my first day of work where I am right now and put on way too much make-up. First day turned into first fortnight of doing the same make-up and now it's just habit. My cosplay make up varies drastically from character to character but there's always more contouring, less eye shadow/liner and more eyelashes than my every day look involved.

Japanese brands as Dolly wink, Diamond lash and Eyemazing are really popular, but also some of the more expensive brands.
Toyoepin is popular for being brand dupes and are usually cheaper than beforementioned brands
They're cheaper than lashes in western stores imo since you get more lashes for what you're paying!
They're prob hard to find in physical stores, but you can get lashes on Pinkyparadise and ebay!

You're not the only one. I was adopted and as one of the only Asians in my very White community, it was incredibly hard to feel comfortable in my own skin: lots of negative comments etc. from classmates, the internet wasn't what it is today so no tutorials etc using people who looked like me, so I kind of gave up on trying to look amazing with makeup and super trendy clothing. My other gave me the typical mom line "They're just jealous of you." but that doesn't ever help.

I use makeup for cosplay and do get compliments, but old feelings and habits die hard.
