Received the primer yesterday, and now I understand the magic of primers.

Is there any way to find out if there's fees to be paid on your package? (I live in Canada & Canada Post delivered it, if that helps at all).

I missed the delivery and the notice says I can pick it up at a nearby store, but I'm a bit broke until Friday. I'd feel so embarrassed going in and not having money to pay for a fee. I know Friday isn't a long wait, but you know how it is, you're excited and want your item ASAP.

I'm imagining my best bet is to just call the store and ask them, but since the post office isn't open yet I figured I'd give you ladies an ask.

I've found EMS to be really hit and miss for me (sometimes tracking is instant, sometimes the package gets to me before tracking updates).

That being said, I know some of the EMS tracking sites have you input the tracking code, hit 'enter', then the verification code loads after to be entered. Could try that if you haven't already, anon? I hate being in the dark about my orders, too.

I've owned them in the past, and they're pretty good quality for the price. Not as nice as JM but still really nice; better than other "affordable" jfashion brands like Axes Femme/Ank Rouge/FINT. I wore one of mine practically once a week for almost a year, and it held up really well; the only reason I don't wear it now is that it mysteriously vanished when my bitch ex-roommate moved out.
The fit is also really nice, imo, though their sizing chart tends to be a wee bit off because they're meant to fit looser. (According to them I'm a 10 because I'm 86-67-81, but I always order an 8.)

The fit is loose because the target market is pretty broad (basically traditionally girly and slightly whimsical stuff for all ages) and they probably assume that the range of people that want to wear their designs include an older generation with a preference for a looser fit. I finally got around to taking pictures of my Bunny House petti - I think some anons wanted to know what the XL was like.
No photos of construction, which is pretty sturdy, but the important things - there's a total of 8 layers of organza at the hem, 6 of which are from doubled-over ruffles attached to single layered tiers above. They aren't gathered but rather pleated into the tier above, which I think is a time and fabric-saving measure and possibly related to why a previous reviewer (blog: a fistful of yen) wasn't that impressed by the level of poof. I'm fairly impressed, but I ordered my petti for a smaller waist size (25" as opposed to 28.5") and also shorter in length, so it may be that Bunny House uses a standard amount of fabric for a given size range.
Either way, photos show poof. I think this might be The One for cupcake-under-layers-of-velveteen.

I've heard really good things about Etude from here, so I decided to give it a try and see how I like it. I just got a big chunk of purchases in, but most of it isn't cgl related so the list is tiny.

Victorian Letter comes in 4 colors: pink, brown, green, and ivory. AP USA's site has them for sale. The long JSK version which is 102 cm in length which I have still has brown and pink for sale. The OP is 3 cm shorter than the long JSK version and has the four colors available as does the skirt version. The tiered JSK which is 89 cm in length does not have green available.

I bought the long JSK version because AP doesn't make long enough prints for tall lolitas. I'll be posting in the tall lolita thread later tonight with of pics of me wearing it.
