Actually this shouldn't be a problem because, ticket cap this year! In May they had over 100,000 people and it was fucking ridiculous so they put a limit on ticket sales to make it half that. So you shouldn't get any overcrowding.

Official MCM Parties aren't worth considering and I've been to a few to know this for sure so I will give you a bit of information for this incomparison to outside parties.

The official parties only work a little well if your in a group, but if you're on your own you are generally fucked with mixing with other people (or the chance of being able to) and buying alcohol is generally too expensive for the value of what you are served with and you're not allowed to bring in your own alcohol.

The unofficial outside party outside is normally better if the weather is good and since there is no strong control of the area you can normally get away with drinking outside during the evening and of course it is free.

I found that the people outside are often more easier to get on with and meet for the first time, and for me I have been approached by people wanting to meet others and hang out so it's been cool.

Only negatives is that there can be idiots (such as the ones swinging off statues and ending up in A&E), security have been known to take away alcohol in the past and unsurprisingly you may see underage teens looking to drink alcohol (I haven't been approached by too many as I'm no Justin Beiber XD).

There are alternative unofficial parties such as meets (sort of like we used to do on this thread before it became weird as fuck), room parties (we sort of did this as a part of the meet too, but too much drama bullshit kept occuring with either cool or weird as fuck people so fuck room parties unless it is with friends) and even going out to explore London or particular places within fair travel distance.
(I haven't tried this, but could be interested. Just not with Nicnax though.

Would that be the hotel in the Custom House area (across the road from the Custom House station) or the bar the that the MCM has normally used for parties?

If it was the first option (Custom House) I unfortunately have to tell you that whole station is closed to the point you can't travel over it at all since the station is being rebuilt again for a new railway project.

I have been to that bar before, but I never drunk any alcohol there since I only went there with a friend who doesn't drink alcohol and it was normally early in the day on each occassion I went there too.

The bar I mentioned in the >>7888447 was the Novotel Bar which is in the Novotel hotel and is normally where the MCM have hosted their official after-parties for the last few years (5 years or more possibly).

The bar opposite to the Comic Con is the Ibis Styles Pub which from Google shows which that the bar is based in the Custom House area and is not a part of the hotel clusters gathered along the Excel Docks.

Also in my post >>7889509 I also explain that accessing that bar from the Excel is shit since the whole of the Custom House station is closed and they apparrently took down the temporary bridge so you will have to cross over from the previous DLR station and walk some distance to get to the Ibis Styles Pub.

I can go down to the Excel and check to see if this is definitely true since I live local to the area.

I decided to check the Custom House DLR station and I must apolgise as I found I was bullshitted to.

Temporary bridge is still up and Custom House DLR stationis also open, but it's only the other bridge which is still closed as it has been for a while.

As for the path from the temporary bridge you would have to follow some signs going through the back of some shitty housing area and then out into the small shopping area for Custom House.

The Ibis Styles Pub can still be accessed without too much effort.

Only thing you might notice is the contruction for the new rail line they're bringing in.

TTT in particular is where there are the Traitors (minority), Innocents (majority) and then the Detective (only one, is allied with the Innocents).

Generally the goal of the game is for the Traitors to kill all the Innocents and the Detective and visa ver etc.

Saturday is the peak day and if you are looking to take pics of good cosplay that is the best day than either Friday or Sunday as on Saturday those who really do want to go to MCM Comic Con turn up on that day in particular.

You may notice more events are intended for that day than the others days.

Sunday is essentially the die-down day and also the day where most of the good stock of mechandise was sold the days before and where it's just the stuff left which wasn't sold.

Sometimes you might get better deals on the Saturday than you would on either Friday or Saturday, but you might not be able to find the stuff you wanted which were available the days before.

As early as you're willing to arrive-- Many people who will be trying to buy on the day saturday will probably also have the idea of going super early to get in line first so it'll be a gamble.

Hard to say. There are people who there there as early as possible to be at the front, but 10-11am is when you want to be in the line to not be way too far at the back.

Most of the stuff at expo is either over priced or fake.

Expo has its faults but it's still fun to go to. There's a lot of great things to see.

Well some of us who still goes to the expo year after year, but considers it as shit is because many of us whom have being going long enough to have known when the event was good.

We can also see trend of how it has been getting worst too.

That is possible but as mentioned before the problem is the ground is suppose to only be for those with tickets/wristbands for the right days and security are suppose to move people on who don't have the tickets/wristband.

Saying this the security is lax on the outside, but it is a bit more on the inside at a more moderate level which would stop most people getting through, but there will likely openings for those who are smarter to get through.

As for me I still go just for the weaboo atmosphere and because I like a break from work towards the later parts of May and October. And I suppose my dedication to have always attend the event to date would also be another motivation too.

Wow Friday is the GOAT day to go
No queues, hardly any crowds and pretty normal people.
Got in at 3pm ish after missing two trains and rolled straight in, no hassle.
Got in queue for bloodborne and was playing the game within 20 minutes, unreal.
Picked up some decent swag to as nothing was sold out yet.

The other guy wasn't actually desperate as he simply liked the look of the female and made his move. It was that simplicity and his ease of getting close of success which is a more in depth view of why I was actually envious.

As for the first part I figured I should share it since there are more desperate people than me. For instance one anon hooked up with a chubby to get laid and then felt bad afterwards.
