My 2nd (3rd if counting transbao) order arrived today! It only took 3 days to get here with regular EMS (shipping cost ripped my balls though). I went with Celestial Delinquent because I had a lot of questions that needed good com. 11/10 would use as SS again.

Everything except the wigs and cape are babby's first lolita coord. I'm not very satisfied with it, seeing the stuff in real life now I'm scared it looks christmas-ey. Nitpick appreciated (the help thread was dead when I was making my order). Don't wanna look like shit at my first meet.

As for the poop wig, it looks like an old lady's bowl cut poofy weave. It's not even a matter of styling, the hair is just way too long all around it to look like the pic without cutting it all 2 inches shorter at least. Plus the top has glue and zig-zaging hairs. But the other wig from the same store is great, somehow. I'm annoyed.

It's soft and thick. Bit darker than pictured. The cap is tiny (but I do have a big head). I think it's my fave wig I've bought, it looks the most like it could be my actual hair.

It depends on the field and perspective of the viewer. Extensive knowledge of taobao seems limited to people already used to importing items from foreign countries. My friends who do not import definitely do not know about taobao. However, its parent alibaba is very well known to friends interested in investing due to the recent IPO + previous knowledge of manufacturing.

Reddit, tumblr and pinterest are curation/content systems so it'd make more sense for a given country to have its own versions of those rather than knowing a foreign language version. The closest western equivalents of taobao right now are amazon, etsy and ebay (maybe storenvy but discoverability on storenvy is rubbish, a lot of goods are from taobao and there's zero feedback system), but neither of those come close to the level of customization and control that shops seem to have on taobao nor its reputation system. Rakuten might be considered the older generation of taobao but it's also not really keeping up with how quickly taobao is taking over.

Short version: I'm in love with the sailor dress, white blouse, short blue skirt and wing backpack. Black blouse, sailor sweater and sketchbooks are pretty good.
Black petticoat is disappointingly un-poofy. Used to have the white version and it was way nicer. Will have to layer.

So these shoes came in the mail today! I got several other things but they weren't really worth reviewing since they're items everyone has seen already. (Jojo tights, thigh highs, etc)

I was pretty worried they wouldn't fit at first. I normally wear a women's 8 and the highest size they had was a 39. So I just winged it and prayed.

They're actually very nice! They're a little tight but it's more of a snug tight and not uncomfortable tight. The print is clean and theres no loose strings. The soles are pretty hard. They're not really rubbery despite how they look. A little difficult to pull on, but that's probably because I have relatively wide feet.

They're very comfortable to wear, though I could see them getting painful if you were to walk around in them for hours on end. I do recommend them though!

I love the pea pod plushie. It's exactly as adorable as I thought it would be. The mint baroque dress is cute, but clearly meant more for clubbing, which I don't do. Still nice material and fits well. The white bibbed skirt (bib isn't showing in pic) also looks good, though it's a little short.

Orange sweater: fits on my torso, tight on my shoulders and arms. Granted, my shoulders are much broader than average, but I was really hoping for a nice fall sweater.

This dress is cute but too short, too small in the chest, too large in the waist, and it bubbles out kind of weirdly. I'll either sell it or wait and give it as a gift for Christmas.

The carpet thing you're seeing is actually fur fabric. I LOVE this fabric. Soft, plush, doesn't shed too much, and cheap. Much better than any of the "fur" fabrics I find in art/craft stores.

I've been wanting an AP style letter bag for years, and this is fantastic. There were two option, faux and real leather. I went with the cheaper one, so I'm curious as to how much they differ. OK so basically it's absolutely lovely, but it does have a few flaws.
The navy colour is pretty accurate in the stock photos, but the white is more like a cream colour. Pics didn't capture it well. Bottom-right pic is probably best. Fabric and lace are the same cream colour, so no clashing whites. The cream colour gives the dress a very classic look, which I find adorable.

Second pic shows the back and all the detachable bows I got with it. They're gold. Might get difficult to coord. Not sure if I"m going to use them yet.

All the outer fabric is chiffon, which is super nice. It flows so well. (Skirt is incredibly wide, fits like 10 pettis.) It's entirely lined with a thin white cotton. The lace is soft and lovely.

Construction-wise it's... different from the picture? Instead of a normal waist, my dress is empire-waisted. It hardly comes across my boobs. I asked for a custom fit, and while it fits well, I'm not sure they knew what to do with my height (5'7"). I think they just added length to the skirt, and not to the bodice.
The "waist" is really loose on me. I didn't even need the side-zipper to get it on. It has waist-ties to take the waist in, but since the buttons for them are only attached to a single layer of chiffon, I'm afraid to tear the fabric if I tie them too tight.
Apart from that construction is alright, but a bit sloppy here and there. See pic of inside of sleeve. That thread should've been navy...
Few loose threads, but nothing too bad. The little bows are sewn a bit crooked.

One complaint I do have is that there are some marks right near the front bow. They seem to mark where to sew, but I'm pretty sure they should've been on the INSIDE. They seem to be ballpoint, too. I can't erase them or get them out with water. Bummer, since it's in just about the most obvious spot on the dress there is. Anyone know a fix?

Here you go. My dumb iphone still won't capture the cream colour well. It makes it too light.
Note the slightly crooked bows and the marks on the front.
As I said the lace is really nice, but the netting wasn't cut very neatly. It's fully lined, which is nice, but the side zipper wasn't sewn between the fabric and the lining, just inside the lining.

Apart from that, yeah, I was surprised it was chiffon as well. But I think it was a good choice! It falls really nicely and I want to touch it all over because of how soft it is. Hmmm.

Overall, even though the construction isn't superb, it feels pretty luxurious because of good materials, and I feel very kawaii when wearing it.

They have some really nice flowers, but they also have the annoying plasticky ones. You have to use your judgment a bit here, and even then, I've had it hit or miss. If you want velvet flowers though, the quality is absolutely lovely and 100% on the mark.

Asking because I ordered something cheap with free shipping to me to test it out. The seller has shipped and a countdown timer for 9 days appeared and it seems like it's sort of a "good should arrive within 9 days" kind of thing and when it does you press the confirmed to have received button. The cardigans are relatively thin, but should be okay for, say, a mild fall day. The mori jackets are mid to light weight, but I feel like the nay is warmer than the brown one. The brown is kinda weird, like a poncho except sewn shut in certain places to make arm holes, and it hangs on me a bit funny so it doesn't see to keep in warmth that well. This is it out of the bag. Not as luxurious as the stock photo makes it out to be, maybe an iron will help it. Its mostly the huge Bodyline tier lace and the scratchy tulle trims that I'm worried about. You'd think for what was meant to be an exposed part of the dress, it'd have nicer tulle? Oh well. I intend to wear it with my Glitter Seraphim JSK because it's a tealength dress that my other pettis are too short and too poofy to handle.

Sure. It's once again night over here so the pictures are dark and fuzzy. Soz. Also I need to iron this thing quite badly.

Fabric is stretchy. Pretty nice, it's soft and thick. V comfy. Colour's a bit darker than the stock photo, and the white ribbon has a blue-ish tint, like it was already washed with the blue fabric once without a colour catcher.
Sewing seems decent. Hems are straight, all the seams on the inside are serged.
Bow is a bit flimsy and the backside's a bit meh, but once attached you don't see that anyway. Serves its purpose.

Sizing seems accurate. My hip/waist was 80/100cm last time I checked, and I fit into it alright, though I definitely wouldn't recommend it for anyone much larger than me.
It's pretty short on me, but that was to be expected. I'm 174cm (5'8" I think?). If I wear it at my natural waist it gives me a wedgie. I wear it lower on my hips though, and it looks pretty damn cute still.

Overall very recommended, especially for the price.
