ok so, what's good makeup to use for going to a rave so that it doesn't run when my face inevitably gets sweaty? Foundation/eyeshadow/liner/lips if you would be so kind... I feel as though people on here would know and i'd be more successful asking than just going out and getting whatever is advertised as non-run / anti-run etc.

Theater make-up perhaps?
Ben Nye might have a foundation that works for you.
For eye make-up, go for sweat/water proof, you can also make it last longer with a proper eyemake-up primer like twofaced or urban
decay. On top of the primer I like using Frynnae's Pixy Epoxy, which makes the color last even longer and brings out the color better as well.
Frynnae's lip lustre also last super long, I really like their stuff especially the loose pigments.
For mascara, the best I ever used is fairy Drops, it was difficult to get it off but boy does it have staying power.
Gel eyeliner is generally longer lasting too, if you chose a good brand such as MAC.

It's a rave not a fashion show, you're supposed to be sweating buckets. Nobody looks good in the morning sun at 7am drenched in sweat after 12 hours of solid dancing

Its this new generation that are just going to be cool and do drugs. Raves will die once more just like it did a few years ago.

Raves have been dead for years, only mainstream resurgences have come and gone. Doing drugs will make you a sweaty mess too.
