It should be fine to have it tailored in the back and the sides. A good tailor knows how to take it in without changing the design. I actually had to have that done with the red dress, it's strangely big but because of the skirt and the bodice, not the easiest to have it taken in.

This is nowhere near as weird as you make it sound. You can tell them up front you fell in love with the dress because they pull it off so well, then tell them one time (only one time, no pestering) that if they ever need to sell you'd be willing to buy.

If you credit them directly as being the source for wanting the dress they'll feel flattered instead of threatened by your copying. After that you're pretty much free to post WTBs looking for the dress since they'll already know you love it. If they want to sell they'll ask you first seeing as shipping to other girls can be an annoyance. Hey! I just got into lolita and these are pieces I really like.

I guess from these my taste would be: military style and colours that aren't too bright.

I know that there's a bodyline in there and I could buy it now, but as with most of the dresses here, I'm too big. Or at least in the case of the body line, my waist is too big by a couple of centimeters. There is always that ONE measurement that doesn't suit my body in terms of sizing. >.>

I've been eyeing the fashion for a year and I've been gathering the names of all the pieces I'd like to own someday. I just updated my list.

I'm losing weight to fit into them. I could already fit into some of these pieces but I wanna be even thinner to look better, so yeah.

One of my dream dresses is Haenuli's new Stained Glass OP, but my shoulders are too wide for it (even though according to my bust and waist measurements I would have for comfortably into their size M) so I had to settle for the skirt instead (not a fan of the JSK's bodice design). This isn't the first time this has happened. Am I the only one who encounters this problem? My bust and waist measurements work for a good number of OPs, but because of my shoulders, almost all OPs I've ever liked are not options for me. This makes me so sad.

This dress. This stupid, stupid dress. I have never been able to find it except for once when it was $500+ dollars on lacemarket and I didn't have the money at the time. i will never be able to even breathe near anyone who owns any colorway of this dress.

Now that classes have started up again I work way less than i used to, and after paying rent i end up with a grand total of 80 something dollars in my account each month. And yet i still sift through every secondhand website known to man almost every day.
