Some friends of mine were at a cosplay picnic as Elsa and Anna and some kids were really stoked to see them. While they're big and don't have exact costumes they at least look cute and young rather than like a mom still trying to live the dream.

I work at a place where people can rent party rooms and we have princesses, mascots and heroes in all the time. From a cosplayer perspective: inaccurate, terrible makeup, not traditionally beautiful, often the heroes aren't muscular... but they come in, they get paid and the kids and parents look like they have an amazing time. It's more than the look (which most young kids don't care about) but the activities they bring.

Parents just sit around while the princess/hero entertains a room full of kids for an hour or so. That is what they are paying for.

It's worth noting that "princess party" dresses are probably something the person wearing them doesn't want to spend too much money on, because the kids at the party are almost guaranteed to tug on them, spill drinks on them, get cake/ice cream on them, etc... As cringey as some of these knockoff princesses are, I can't really fault them for cheaping out a bit on their costumes.

Yeah, she still shows up and schedules meet and greets with herself to sign autographs at SoCal Disney. I'm a former face character of the Florida park, but friends I know who still work at SoCal say that she is an irritating guest. She often shows up, trying to steal thunder from the other face characters.

I used to not mind her until it came to light that she was pretty much a casual for her entire life and then hopped on the bandwagon for cosplaying around the same time that Nigri started reaching for fame. It's annoying to have to see her insert herself into fandoms she knows nothing of, for the sake of creating a "fan song" and trying to profit. She can't sing, she's aged herself terribly by caking on makeup, and she's incredibly full of herself on Instagram. I recall her once getting passive aggressive and accusing Cher Lloyd (not a fan) of stealing artwork from her and copped an attitude with Firefly Path for creating a Jasmine costume for someone.. even though.. Traci doesn't realize she's NOT the only person who can be a Disney Princess. And, frankly, her cosplays aren't that good.

Just.. her obnoxiousness puts me off. Although, her husband made a post about spending money in the thousands and took a pic and I'm starting to think she married a much older man just so she could avoid getting a real career and play fandom frolicker.

She's not a nice,person from what i've seen. One time at a fantasy fair, i've seen her bitching to her boyfriend about a camera that didn't work.

At Abunai 2013 she was with a good Belle, and I was cosplaying a Disney character too and wanted a picture. I'm surprised it took Disney this long to find out that pretty girls with magic powers sell. A whole year before Frozen came out my nieces were running around in the snow were saying they had winter powers to conjure snow, icicles, mittens and hot chocolate. Pretty girls who can do cool stuff is a winning combo but the mainstream media surprisingly hasn't tapped into this. Sure we have it in Avatar and Sailor Moon but in the eyes of the public those are just kids TV shows and one of them is a Chinese porn cartoon. But Disney/Pixar movies are infallible wonder for all ages.

Let it Go definitely played it's part, but let's not forget her ability to conjure ice and outfits at will.
