Did anyone see an older guy that was using a 10 camera setup? He lined up a bunch of cameras on a board and they all take pictures at once. I think it makes 3D photos, but I'm not sure.

Just curious, would you guys say it's worth staying around the area for a few days before/after the con?

Unfortunately my usual group of con friends are pretty stingy when it comes to travelling, half of us want to attend next year but the other half (who aren't into cosplaying) don't think it's worth travelling that far just for a con weekend.

My group rarely went to the con. We spent most of the weekend outside the con exploring Montreal. The con area is right in the core of downtown, so walking around for 30mins gets you to a lot of places.

had a great time in montreal other than blacking out last night and missing my train with a massive hangover. the con itself was pretty shitt, but we barely went anyway. shoutouts to everyone who came for beer and poutine, that was the best.

That is probably the worst thing that can happen to multi-lingual businesses.
At my old job, some guy got fired and he got pretty pissed so he called the language inspections office.
They came and put warnings on everything, the job was french primarily and it was still not good enough.
It was hilarious seeing as I was quitting but seeing my employers freak out was great fun.

Thanks! I did ask a few cosplayers. The zelda group, for example, the Elsa, and the guy with the horse mask. Pretty much everyone else in the video I know. I realize that draws criticism, but when all my friends are cosplayers, and good ones at that, why would I ignore them?
Most of my other videos up till now tend to have a majority of cosplayers I don't know, or haven't met before asking to film them. This one required more detailed direction, so I went with people that a) had the time, b) had the patience to get it to work right.

I think your footage is actually really good. The video should intensify as it progresses. Start with him noticing the girl, being annoyed, and finally end with him running around trying to get away from it all.

I disagree. I don't like the concept at all. Even though it is different than most CMV's and tells a story, (which is hard to find) it still was boring after we got the hint that everyone was yelling at him and he mad and the music was painful. Still, great job for your first one.

I suggest for your next video, gather up a number of different cosplayers and get abstract still shots (eyes, faces, symbolism) and time them to the music, with video sequences in between. (think evangelion, orange is the new black op's)
Pick character specific locations! Ask the cosplayer to get in character as possible, and interact with the environment that is suitable to the character.

just an idea, but i feel you could make it work since ive never seen it done before. GL!
