It's basically the same exact kind of seinen-y fanjunk that 'cute girls doing cute things' animu is. I know people always get flack for comparing mlp to animu but it is really like that kind of slice of life moe uguu garbage, seriously, I have no better way to describe it.

The plot is appealing to younger girls, yes, but much of the content shifted slightly off-key.

Is that so weird? If I had wanted purple hair when I was ten my mum would've dyed it for me. I think it's more strange for working adults to have an unnatural hair colour, because (depending on your job) it looks really unprofessional.

Temp spray hair dye is safe for kids. This was used with the brush in technique, that's why it looks natural.

That's not a fupa, just a round tummy. A lot of girls have that, especially if they drink a lot of soda or other sugary, salty stuff. It can also become more pronounced when you're on your period.

ffs how is it that almost all of them make the same tacky ass unnecessary layering/bad color coordinating choices? they would be much less cringe-worthy if they just kept it simple...

The shield is cheap looking and stained.
Both wigs are unkempt and there wasn't even an attempt to style them, as it looks.
That crown is cheap shit you get at Party City for a child's birthday party. The shoes don't even match the overall character; Cadence has yellow gauntlet-like things on her hooves, so a golden heel or sandal would've been more appropriate. The ombre effect on the bottom of the fabric looks badly done, not to mention the fabric itself looks like a tablecloth. It's cheap looking. The top of the entire dress is a complete mess, did you even bother to look at the fact that this person couldn't decide between just an off the shoulder gown or a halter? Or, how the top is practically safety pinned together? The bodice has absolutely no shape to it; This girl is basically wearing a tablecloth with glitter glue. The purple clutch is also completely out of place and this person could use makeup. The entire Shining Armor could use a better uniform than just what appear to be a lazy Prince Eric costume with shit sewn onto it.

Not everything is a vendetta just because you and select others want to act like every cosplay is special and perfect.
