Squeaky anons! I owned a pair of BL boots and they squeaked like hell. I stopped them squeaking by rubbing a VERY small amount of hair conditioner on the tongue of the boot, particularly along the parts where it makes contact with another part of the boot. There's probably a material-specific product that does that, but that worked for me and they haven't squeaked since!

My friend has L526 in black, and it looks pretty good in a nice coord. I got it in white but ultimately sold it though. The lace isn't too bad in the solid jsks, but my issue was the skirt, it's kind of long and needs a lot of petti. It wa pretty flattering on my bust though.

Size 10 isn't as helpful as knowing your size in cm (or even EU sizing, since that seems to be a bit more uniform in my experience). Some anons swear that Bodyline uses the cm sizes, but I have always gone by their size chart and ordered according to the Japanese sizes (with exceptions for shoes like the RHS, which run small) with no problems.
For example, I'm an EU 37, and I usually buy 225s.
If the shoes you bought end up being a bit too big, you can always just put an insole or two in them.

Hi, this is a large being worn on my 34" bust/29" waist. It's made of a very thick velvet and wears heavy and kind of stuff. The gold also stands out more in person. It's very warm and would be good for a winter coord, soft on the inside, generally good quality. It does sit a little boxy on the body and doesn't create a very tapered silhouette on its own--however, the length of it nips the waist in where its actual fabric would fail. Would recommend for a military/marching band lolita coord but not really for casual wear.

>> No.7750901

>>7750845
People hate it because it's cheap looking, and the colors and patterns clash. Also, nearly everyone who wears it is either ita or new to lolita. It's an extremely popular babby's first dress, and screams "hai guyz im new lel!"
The clock print also attracts steampunks, as a previous comment said. Steampunk lolita is something that's becoming insanely popular among the female nerd crowd, and pretty much all of them completely misunderstand what lolita is.

As a new loli, you have to research what's acceptable in lolita, and also develop an eye for what makes a clothing piece ita or of poor construction. For example, the skirt you linked has awful corset lacing, cheap lace, and ribbons out the wazoo that don't need to be there. Bodyline reds are also hit or miss, so I'd urge you to stay away from them. I'm not a fan of the pattern at all either.
