Considering how last year I picked up my actual badge after a half hour line, waiting hours and being rewarded with the chance to wait in another line tomorrow does not exactly feel great.

The thursday before Otakon is supposed to be a day for pre-registered people to pick up their badge early. You tend to be able to get fairly fast, at absolutely most an hour.

However there was some sort of computer malfunction this time around, so there was a MASSIVE line. After waiting for two and a half hours, Otakon closed the doors at 10:30, but I didn't find out till near 11, since no staffers bothered to tell us in the ass end of the line earlier.

After a shitton of bitching, the people who waited around to complain got these bullshit passes. At least it's better than nothing!

I spent less than 20 minutes in line with one of those.

Also, print out your own schedule before picking up your badge. They're not included since they aren't updated during the convention.
