depending on what you want, peterpan collars are popular. Poofy short sleeves or half sleeves i would suggest, since its summer.

I personally think that's a lovely piece (it's on my own wishlist in a different colour!), but if you're starting into Lolita, you might be better off starting with a plain colour jsk like pic related. I'm not doubting that you can make it look good, but plain-colour pieces are usually best to start a wardrobe, because it's easier to make different coords or add to your wardrobe without being tied to several colours in a print or the one theme.

It's shit, I'm in the Netherlands. Average summer temperature during the day is about 22 degrees. Winters are "mild" according to Köppen but I'm freezing my ass off every year. I'm practically always cold except during summer and love tropical weather (though it gives me headaches).

As someone who had tonnes of BL blouses and eventually purged them, I'd honestly recommend brand or higher end Taobao blouses over Bodyline.

I'd keep an eye on the 2nd hand sales. Blouses don't tend to keep retail value well, so you can easily snag some cheaper brand blouses. Even if brand blouses are costing you more, It's honestly better to pay that little bit more for good quality brand blouses over Bodyline. It's not that BL's are crap. They're okay, some are nice. Brand blouses are just way better quality, looks and investment wise. Your coord will look better with brand over BL, trust me.

For gothic, keep an eye out for when the brands have their lucky packs out, as people will be selling off blouses they don't want. AATP will be good, and Innocent world will be excellent, as classic blouses are easily incorporated into gothic.

Taobao is also good (and often the same price as BL for better quality). Off the top of my head, Krad is marvellous. R series blouses are pretty good too. Surface spell and DC weren't as good, but were better than BL.

Another key thing is that if you end up with a blouse you dislike, brand and higher end Taobao sells a hell of a lot easier.

tl;dr go for brand (2nd hand if price is an issue) or higher-end Taobao.

Every order I place with a jp SS, I will always end up with at least one item that gives me trouble and shit. Japanese sellers don't declare pets and I break out in allergies. Yes, though depends on the brand I think. I don't like Baby's cotton blouses very much, AP's are ok from the ones I've felt and seen irl (I don't own any myself), but I think IW has the best overall. Look for them secondhand though, especially on Japanese auctions. I've gotten tons of brand blouses for 50-80 secondhand in great condition. Secondhand western prices for brand blouses can be a bit silly sometimes depending on the blouse.

You need to go to someone local and have a fitting. Even if you give them your nape to waist measurement, without a fitting it's hard to account for bust prominence, which can't be determined by measurements alone, since it depends on the shape of your breasts.

You need to learn how to size your bra.
Take your overbust measurement (1) and subtract your underbust measurement (2) from that number to get the remainder (3) The underbust (2) is your band size, and the number of the alphabet that corresponds to 3 (ex: 5" difference is a DD/E cup) is your cup size. It's cute though and a decent summer blouse so I mostly wear it with normalfag outfits. Most normalfags are too distracted by the fact that it's ruffly and non-mainstream to notice any imperfections.

If you have the budget you can buy from the brands themselves. Many ship overseas now.

The hole is about half a centimeter long, not obvious but difficult to miss if you're having a proper look at the cutsew.
Hair is mostly human, lots of long hairs inside and some small hairs.
Tbh, the piling wouldn't bother me so much if it wasn't for the other shit. the seller also described it as having been worn once or twice only, way too much piling for that.

I think I'll just ask to return it, the whole sending it covered in hairs is just grossing me out too much.

i personally feel that holes and/or tears are one of the worst things a dress can have. stains could possibly be rid off, piling is kind of eh hard to describe, smells are subjective, but holes/tears are the worst.
