Every fuckin' time. I wore Chie to FanExpo the same month the scott pilgrim movie came out and not a single person recognized me as Chie, but I had compliments left and right on my Kim Pine costume. Granted, P4 wasnt nearly as popular then.

Almost wore her to SDCC this weekend but made the smart decision of wearing something else.

This has been my best one so far. The same Yoko and I were making jokes about her being mistaken for Grell, and we made the comment that my spiked hair resembled Axel. We then heard someone make a comment about

The second time I was with a sign "I'm not Rei Ayanami" and the people want a photo with Rei Ayanami (aka: me)

Still kind of saddend by this. my group usually picks a theme every con and we got monster once. I chose my favorite warrhammer race: The skaven. They are just such cool cartoony villans and I am by no definition a furry. I put one together and it got some decent reviews but it was a little too obscure. Out of the hundreds to stop our group, maybe 4 knew what I was, but the others had no idea or asked if I was cyber punk master splinter.
