What are good shoes for a gothic co-ord? I always see things getting called "too sweet". I'm a sweet lolita that wants to try gothic out but I see the shoes as a big challenge.

Just because something is black, does not make it gothic. Gothic lolita is designed differently and stylized differently from other styles. Could you make it into a gothic outfit? Sure, but you would have to ditch the bow, the hair, the socks, and heavily stylize it to make it goth despite the sweetness.

Straps yes, heels/platform yes, bows (generally) no.
It really depends on the rest of the coord, though. For something more old school or Mana inspired I'd go for big black heeled platforms. For something more Western gothy or leaning towards classic you could go for more conventional classy pumps or Victorian-esque booties.

Eh, bittersweet is one of those labels that didnt stick and didnt get a fleshed out style. So while yeah I see it being under that label, if you see bittersweet more as like the creepycute stuff then it lacks gothic motifs.

On what colors are your wardrobes based on? Mine is burgundy + black, basically. I've been trying to add some white and offwhite but, eh, not sure if light colors look good on me.
I'm also not a huge fan of the famous blue+black combo. I think it worked back then, specially for Mana, but nowadays it's quite difficult to make it not look too... 90's? Idk, it's just, like, my opinion, man.

I'm black with I guess dark jewel tones (navy blue, purple, dark forest green, dark reds)
I am seriously this close to giving up on the dark reds as I've got shades from pink-based wine/strawberry shades to browny maroon to purply burgundy and none of them fucking match. At least I only have two shades of navy and purple, and my greens all managed (miraculously) to match.

I don't think I'll ever get it. As far as I know it's somewhat rare, and it goes for quite a lot too. I'd feel so bad spending more than $400 on a dress I would probably not even wear.

It is! I've only seen it once, sold for $450 almost immediately. The other colors and JSK are more common, but they don't sell for much less. I have the navy skirt, and am pretty content with that.

Holy Queen was up for auction earlier this year for ages, but it was expensive as hell. I think Cathedral is up on one of the secondhand sites right now, so maybe check for that. Sadly though, Moitie runs really expensive so you might end up spending $400 on some of these.

Honestly, I don't really care at this point. I avoid mirrors like the plague and hide behind sunglasses, even in winter. The last picture that has been taken of me is at least six years old. It sounds melodramatic but I just want to be cute and stop having to avoid going outside because of this bullshit.

I've always been underweight also, yet I have a round slav-type face. I was told that exercising to build muscle (not burn fat) would help. Not to transform into a bodybuilder (that shit is too much work and it ain't cute) but just getting healthier proportions through strength/resistance training.

I've been doing super-basic resistance/bodyweight training for a couple months now. My face seems a bit leaner and I feel less helpless, while still fitting into my usual clothes. Seems like it's a win-win so far.

The awesome thing about burgundy is the right pieces can actually be used across your wardrobe, it's a color present in sweet, classic and gothic. I think it's the only color that's not white, cream or black like that.
