I hate pool party cosplays. 99% of them are lazy and just an excuse to be a slut, have no identifying features of the character other than the hair and color of their clothes, and I get that it's summer but really? League costumes are revealing enough that you can deal with the heat. Yeah I've cosplayed once before and I've never used body paint before. Looked up some Hulk costumes to get the idea of how it would look like and it wasn't looking too good, especially when I saw someone closer to my body type (I'm not a whale, but I'm not muscular). I cosplayed Heartseeker Ashe this past weekened at San Japan. I made the costume and weapon in under a week. The hearts on the bow and the string light up. Just thought I drop some non-PP cosplay in here.

I do admit, it was a rush job and I regret that. I'm going to entirely redo the bow. It was definitely a new experience with the materials I used for the bow. I never got the chance to even style my wig, so there's that.

As far as materials/fabric, what might you suggest? Now that I have more time before the next con, I can actually order better fabrics since the options here in SA are pretty limited for good fabric.

I always love to hear what I can improve on, because that's part of the process of being a cosplayer. Making mistakes and fixing those mistakes to make a better costume next time.
