Even the black shoes and lack of wristwear (though it does appear she's wearing something) are more nitpicks, for me. You should have pointed out that her hair is too small for the hat, the blouse is ill fitting, and more than just wristwear, she's under accessorized.
Take away the fat and she's more nitpick than ita for me, though, as this could be a boring but passable casual coord on someone who fit the clothing better.

Seconding about glasses. I recently got a free pair from a fishy Chinese company - they look nice and I can see fine, but only so long as I look out of the center of the glass. They have a fish eye feel, I'm still getting used to it because a lot of straight surfaces keep curving. I could get more from them as they are super cheap but I'd rather just wear contacts. Cheap glasses are a pain in the ass

Actually I have to debate this. I have 3 pairs from zenni, my prescription is in the -8 category so I had to get them shrunken. I actually took them to am optometry department at a mall and had them doublecheck the prescription too, and they were all fine. The only issue I had with my frames is that the design is flaking a little on the side, but I bought a $200+ pair of Candies frames that had a design fall off within 2 months as opposed to 10.

Depends on where you get it from but Zenni is pretty legit.

Even though they are for function, if glasses are very incongruous in a coord, they will get comment. Most people think if you don't get a pair that don't clash with your Lolita, it looks bad. I'd say get a pair that matches well with your Lolita and then when you wear them with normal clothes it will look fine too but then I wear Lolita as much as my normal clothes and I usually have several pairs because though I have to wear glasses or contacts to see/drive, I consider my glasses FRAMES as fashion accessories. It's going to stay shitty until someone does a tutorial on how to do good whiteface using western products. Minori's video tutorial featured Asian greasepaint and powder foundation. Not terribly expensive when compared to actual geisha and kabuki makeup but more than most hobbyist shironuri want to pay so they use cheap Halloween makeup and that's the result. I'm for letting them stay ita. It doesn't rustle my jimmies to see itas being ita and I don't have the urge to correct or improve them. They will either get it or they won't.
