I hate, HATE finding good cosplays in the Exhibit Hall for both parties. For me because the lighting sucks and I'm guaranteed to congest traffic, and the cosplayer is most always in there on business and they sure as hell don't want to clog the aisles.

Menma is SUPER popular. i'm used to a lot of attention as Madoka, but far more people actually love Menma and it was not shocking, but a little bewildering for me as a cosplayer. i've never had so many photos taken of me in my life. i actually had to beg for breaks when a swarm of ppl would take pictures.

So-so. Too much western game music like Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and Halo. Also ending it with Skyrim was extremely lackluster. I wish they had incorporated more anime music into it like how they did some Akira and SAO at the start, but then again the set was probably already something they have done for other venues. First I've heard of it, I didn't even see a single ES cosplayer. A little too obscure for a western con I think.

Had a fucking awesome time at AX. Got invited to cool parties, hung out with friends, bought some really great madoka figures. Two highlights would be SOA pannel and LCS. That Lolita grill was really funny. Soap got destroyed but mostly by the audience. The roast was funny, but only to the first row, most people looked upset by it or clueless.TFW no funny qt. SOA was great, fucking loved the bloopers and the panel had a lot of nifty previews and insights. was a pretty great weekend.

I think this guy stayed outside the entire time. It was probably for the best.

I have no idea how imgur's "restrictions" work so I just limited my albums to 100 images and hopefully everyone can see everything. The last album has 20.

I would not be upset if they actually had cosplay guests with a vast array of techniques and a good attitude. The panel would be about the things they have learned so they can share the knowledge. In my mind, that's the best part of the community.

Without going into too much detail about why this con was the worst con I'd ever attended, it was all my own fault why I couldn't enjoy it.

My phone reset itself, losing all my convention contacts, photos, and it even messed up my camera app so I barely take any photos anyway.

Can I humbly request any photos of Bride Ryuko if anyone has any? I heard there were multiple but I saw one in the line for the KLK Event but didn't get a pic. Thanks.

I ended up waiting in line for the Saturday dance with this guy and some other cool people. Apparently they wouldn't let him inside with the Axe. But then some cop he knew or just a random cop asked him why he wasn't inside and actually escorted him through the con for a bit.
