This guy's armor was completely steel holy crap. I did one piece of torso armor in some kind of aluminum alloy and that was already pretty heavy.

con was bretty gud.
I didn't spend a ton of time at the con this year, mostly hung out with friends. I was on the Tough Crowd with Soap panel, it went great, crowd was engaged and laughing. Also, since cgl would be interested, reportedly during the LCS (I was hosting stuff during that time) Soap ripped on Yaya and Jniggs really badly and pissed off the female judge. I don't remember her name (I believe shes been to one of my shidigs in the past tho), but I guess she knows them IRL and got really mad at him. A lolita won the event, and I was told she was very funny.
The con was fucking crowded as fuck esp on saturday. After the LACC contract is up, the con will probably move I think. Its getting to be a bit too much, and the hotels in the area cannot handle everyone any more. The staffers had to stay at a hotel far a fuck away as it is.
