I feel like a lot of ~normies have, like you've shown here, do cosplays or get into stuff just to rock their bod. which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I feel like it's been a partial contributor to the large amount of people who cosplay purely for attention or do it as like a modelling thing. people like jnig. I mean, there's other reasons for this as well (like the popularity of social media, the desire to have fans/followers) and like I said if you got a nice bod, hey, go rock it out but it's a bit annoying to go to a con to meet and socialize with other fans when you clearly spot or talk to someone who's there who's likely or obviously there for other reasons. If you'd rather have normals hitting on you your costumes probably don't get enough attention from those type for it to be unbearably annoying.
Being surrounded by these guys is the worst. You can almost taste their smugness: most of them clearly think they are above all the goofy cons nerds and are most definitely going to be banging some hot cosplay tonight solely due to this 'fact'. These guys only go to cons after seeing JNig online and hearing/imagining that cosplayers are sexy sluts totally craving that alpha D.


OP doesn't sound nearly as bad as those types however. They are an extreme end of the spectrum but I do see them in fucking droves. At least you plan to watch some animu, OP, as many of these bros don't even bother.

So long as you have manners, don't annoy other congoers, and know when to back down and leave when you make others uncomfortable, I already love you. Invade all you like, maybe you can teach the dorks and fratboys some manners while you're at it.

Dorks are nice to chat in depth about anime, games and things I'm interested in, provided I can find the right dorks whose interests coincide with mine, but some of them have big, terrible spiky dildoes up their buttholes if I happen to have a differing opinion or haven't watched their favorite anniemay or they'll pull some stupid holier-than-thou "filthy casual" "fake nerd girl" attitude just because you haven't memorised every single pokemon or Marvel versions of X-men or whatever their schtick is.

Fratboys are just annoying and should die horrible deaths of being burned at the stake while a crowd that consists of clones of themselves point, laugh and make stupid fratboy jokes. They don't contribute anything except aggravation anyway, their loss to society is an improvement to the gene pool.

People who go to cons are normalfags, why would you need to "ask" to come. The majority probably only know as much anime as you do, if that, and the sole reason people go to cons is to socialize (AKA fuck) because there sure as Hell is no other reason to go. It's the most normalfag thing possible, people just put a "nerd" spin on it to seem different for whatever reason. The fact that you can behave normally just makes you the ideal kind of person to be there, since the focus is on socializing rather than knowing whatever the subject of the con is.
