Does anyone know how well alternate outfits for other characters like Rin go over if it's not from one of the ridiculously popular songs or Project Diva?
I've been considering doing Rin from Sincerity Nature: Drastic Measures of Ignorance but I wouldn't have a Len and I don't know if on it's own it'd be recognisable as Rin.

One thing I've noticed is that if you have a wig that's similar to default (in this case, Rin's blonde curls), people will ask, "Are you Rin? What is that outfit from?"
That's the neat thing about Vocaloid.

For a while it was totally my goal in cosplay life to do as many obscure Mikus as I possibly could. It got not-so-fun pretty quickly, so I don't actually have that many, in the end. I still have a few on my list I'd like to do.

This one is based on "Originality" by Satuki ga Tenkomori, which basically a plagiaristic parody of people who plagiarize?

I liked it because it was several Mikus at once, but I only wore it at a con for a few hours and of course nobody knew wtf I was doing.

Still love the song and I'm pround of the construction as well since it was so weird.

This is really good, I never thought I'd see a cosplay of Originality. You did a really good job, I don't see anything that stands out as wrong here. Only thing that bothers me is a lack of contacts- she clearly has one blue eye and one green/yellow/blue eye (though I could live with just green because I doubt they make a contact for that eye). The fandom has always been pretty shit tbh. I had one refuge of fans I really enjoyed and got along with but t was a livejournal community so of course it's dead now.

I also miss the guy who used to do a vocaloid stream on like Wednesday nights and you would send requests and everyone would just chill and chat.

I'll be doing a Calcium cosplay next year... If that counts? It's not Miku... But everyone associates her with Miku ever since Bacterial Contamination was released.

A trio of Raspberry Monster cosplayers would be so cool! Especially cause it isn't super default looking Miku... Does this song count even? Dang. IDEK.
And Dangerous Situation Girl with GUMI and Miku is another cosplay pair I would wanna see...
