I tried cosplaying from a really popular fandom once and we all were at a photoshoot. I wanted some "nice" photos since we had a good photographer when all of a sudden one of the really closety closplay people that put like absolutely no effort in their costume, looked nothing like the character and was pretty fat started pushing for slap stick, butt sex, random pairings. I left that so so so fast and promised myself only controlled shoots from now on....It was a pretty serious anime too, I hate you tumblr
