The big difference is that while most good lolitas do have plenty of problems, they don't use them as excuses for why their outfit sucks. According to her FAQ Fanny Rosie has been struggling with terrible acne for a long time but I've never seen her using that as an excuse for bad pictures. I have to disagree slightly. I think the skirt has colors which aren't fully suited to lolita. Maybe if they were a bit more toned down. The orange in the first one is just off-putting. I'm not a huge fan of the print in the second one, but I can see it being more JeJ inspired, maybe.

How is that casual lolita? There's barely any lolita shape to it. It's more otome if anything. But there needs to be more black in the top half of her outfit to balance out the total black on the bottom. And I guess this is my personal aesthetic, but I think a shirt should always be tucked in. As it is now, her skirt looks SUPER short. She's wearing it at her proper waist, yes, but her waist disappears because the shirt is covering it.

Balance out the coord with more black and pink all over, tuck in the shirt to help define the waist, and get a better petti. Also, get a cardigan with some details! But even for a casual coord, it just needs more lolita, otherwise it's just otome.

I don't use CoF, I just saw the pic here and noticed she was in the Metroplex com. I'm not very active because I think the meets could be a lot better. I don't attend much because I don't have time and didn't really connect with anyone in the group. I am perfectly happy wearing lolita outside any type of organized club. So while I recognized her, I certainly don't know her that well, other than her posts aren't to the main group page and I'm guessing are on a Tumblr or personal Facebook page. I'm also guessing someone who follows those pages has been posting, 'cause I've seen her in these threads before.

OTT sweet lolita here and this coord is a mess. Yellows don't match, colour balance is a joke (too many dominant colours + pink out of nowhere), blouse would be passable for a classic coord but def not for OTT sweet. Also, accessories are not balanced out; she has a lot going on her head, but nearly nothing on her hands and legs, while torso accessories are way too small - they are barely noticable.
