I'm not that anon, but /cgl/ is unfairly harsh about no-wig cosplays. Such a thing as styling one's hair exists, wigs are just easier and more convenient for cons and strange styles/colors...if someone has enough hair in the right color and it's healthy and somewhat voluminous there's no reason it can't look nice. It does look like she has workable hair for Sonia (Sonia's is a little wavier, but that can be taken care of.)

A wig is typically the item of choice because you can get a desired thickness and color. I mean, to me it looks like you're close to the length and thickness of Ed's hair. You'd probably need extensions and need to dye your hair and eyebrows a natural golden blonde [eyebrows to ashy blonde] to really pull it off without a wig. I suggest a wig mostly out of connivence because extensions and dyeing can be even more expensive.
