I want to cosplay Ulala, but I've never cosplayed a "sexy" character before, and don't want to be labeled as an attention whore slutty cosplayer nor get that kind of attention.

The last time I so much as cosplayed a character with a dress at a con, I had people trying to take upskirt shots, and even after I told them to stop, they kept doing it and followed me around when I decided to remove myself from the situation. Granted, this was a few years ago, but since then, I decided to stop cosplaying characters with skirts or dresses because I don't even want to deal with that shit anymore. Not wanting to be seen as a slut + be treated as a slut isn't pathetic if it's happened to you before. I'm making the choice to not cosplay characters where this would be likely to happen again. Sucks for me, but I'm choosing my priorities.

I have a couple wish/dream cosplays, one of them being Tanaka Aiko from Oyasumi Punpun. I'd love to do her one day, but I feel like it'd be hard for people to recognize me if I didn't have a potential Punpun with me. I tell myself I'm just putting her on hold until I find someone to cosplay Punpun with me, but I highly doubt that's ever going to happen.

I'm also going to cosplay someone from Maplestory this summer, but it feels terrible and shameful to admit.

Lady (Grace) from SH3. It's shameful since New world was probably the worst out of the Shadow Hearts franchise, but I get so many feels for Lady and Killer's ending. They were really the only redeeming part of that game for me character wise.

As for why I won't cosplay her, I actually did.. And it came out pretty terrible, part of me really want to remake it now that my sewing skills have improved though.

You can actually make your own out of latex and latex foam with some basic prosthetic creation techniques. Won't move as nicely/realistically as a silicone breastplate, but somehow I don't see tit movement being a problem in that outfit.

A-cup here. Just get the cutlets first to fit 1 size up so B-cup or so, then go to Aerie or some other store with super padded bras, ask for the one with most padding, get that in B-cup size then get another one of the same type of bra that fits over the B-cup one, it will depend on the amount it added, usually 1 cup sometimes 2! Just get whatever your fake cupsize is ontop of it and continue till you're satisfied/breaking your ribs with 5-10 bras.

Get those stick-on cups from ebay, the ones that clip in the front. There are little things on the inside right where they should stick to your nipples. They pull so much skin and ribfat over, it looked like I had DDDs when I wore those + a bra, and Ive got a 30" around chest.

She was great, yet scared to venture into man-loli waters. I have too much stubble for that.

Dude. We have the same dream cosplay. (Well, I have multiple dream cosplays, but this is one of the top few)

This seemed like a foam+bondo project (like a Space Marine, but thinner foam), and bias cut fabric for the hood. I was going to use turkey feathers for the wings, maaaaaybe modified peacock feathers for the tail but they might be too delicate. For the feet, just build over some heels. Not sure if I'll try to imitate the floating effect with clear platform stripper heels or not.

There's plenty of cute yet conservative designs in the game to choose from, like Suzuya, Nachi, Atago, Hiyou, Akagi, or Wakaba. Those are pretty covered up except perhaps for the skirt length on a couple. They also have a wide variety of complexity in props/guns.

Elins are my babies, I've been wanting to cosplay one since I started the game. Technically they count as OCs so I didn't want to do it unless I could get a TERA group together. Sadly no one wants to do it because of the armor.

Agreed. I don't count something as an OC unless it's been designed from the group up by the person cosplaying it. All the armour and the overall features of the race are still property of TERA, so it's not really an OC.

I wish more people were willing to do Casties. They do actually have modest armour sets. Half the armour in the galleries here http://tera-online.cc/gallery/castanic-female/ don't have thongs or tiny bikini tops. Pic related is one I want to do, though I might opt for a heavy armour set instead since I'm playing a Zerker instead of a Warrior now.

The reason the Casties have such revealing armour is because those jagged black lines on their bodies are scars which were gifts from their gods, but most of the people who bitch about their armour don't know this.

Wear bare legs for a shoot and shop out the stretch marks and then wear tights to a con. That's exactly what I did when I cosplayed her. If you get sheer enough tights/ones close enough to your skin colour it won't be that noticeable and it feels a lot more comfortable, to me anyway, to have my legs covered.

I use dancer tights often, and one way I've found to avoid this is to tea dye the tights to match your skin tone better. Tea dye isn't harsh and can make even slight color changes, and it also takes the shine away(but honestly if you buy a nice product there shouldnt be shine. Dont be cheap).

I'm HELLA pale, so I had to buy pink ballet tights and dye them to match my skin.
