Whats their M sizing supposed to be like? I'm confused, people on mbok seem to do flat measurements of something like "40cm approx" bust which says to me, only 80cm bust... wtf? And most if not only, are their stuff size M.

Some of it is pretty small, but some of it is because people not taking flat measurements over bust darts well. JM's website can give you an idea of how the sizing usually runs. I think their JSKs and OPs are running around 86-90 cm now depending on how loose the cut is supposed to be. Some of the old stuff is smaller.

JM sizing varies a lot. Older stuff runs smaller, newer stuff bigger in general. But it is true, they have smaller busts compared with the waist being bigger which makes the cut less figur-accentuated and more loose overall (perfect for more meaty girls).
From my personal experiences I'd say the standard measurements for a JSK like this one >>7503176 is like 90 cm in the bust and 74 cm in the waist. OP's tend to run bigger from my experience. 80 cm sounds very untypical even for JM, unless the dress has been altered before (and that's not even unlikely on Japanese auctions, I've seen it more than once before) or it has been a very old release.
