I agree. It's okay but overall it could be so much better. It is short so if you get bored one day I'd watch it.

I know that there is one centered around a cosplay cafe that includes lots of actual brand, but I've never seen it linked where I could watch it subtitled. Anyone know what I'm talking about/has a link?

A while ago someone linked to Musashino no shimai on here. The plot doesn't have much to do with Lolita but the main character wears a lot of Baby.

Does anime count? Not as in fantasy animes, but regular Japanese high school girls who happen to dress in alternative fashion.
Kinmoza's main character wears mori girl, lolita, and wa-lolita when we see the girls in street clothes. They don't treat it like cosplay in the way that K-ON does. They don't even really call much attention to it. She isn't the-character-who-wears-weird-clothes, it's just something she does. The only times they talk about it is when she wore this mori outfit on a blazing hot day in the mountains, and their concern was more towards the layers than of the fact it was mori.

Everyone is very supportive and casual about her fashion choices. Especially her older sister, who's a model. It was nice seeing jfashion portrayed like this, instead of it being the end-all of the character or it just being a cosplay.
